Visit the museum and former living quarters of a very special lady .. Luisa piccarreta .. who has during her life been able to build a unique relationship with God. There’s ample description of her work in this relationship and her funeral was a mass event in town. (1947)

We came to spend time with Jesus, Mary and Luisa Piccarretta...

We came to spend time with Jesus, Mary and Luisa Piccarretta....Santa Maria Greca was fabulous, as was Fr Vincente and the parishioners...we really enjoyed Holy Mass, Adoration and the Way of the Cross....the Association for Luisa was wonderful and is a must not miss! Praise God for all! (Delicious Pizza was the best!)

Nicely an quiet place in a historical context,very...

Nicely an quiet place in a historical context,very interesting.Shopping area in the centre old town, you can buy everything by walking on your feet.In the evening the life turns on the lights all around in many activities.Corato is in strategic point, you go up to visit Trani and Castel del monte.Better if you travel by car.

Plenty of eating and drinking facilities .

Plenty of eating and drinking facilities . Good shopping choices . The town had interesting culture and events on whilst we were there a carnival and music festival . Friendly people and in particular the traditional Italian eating venues with good choices and value .

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Each room has a separate entrance. Located in a very beautiful secluded place. Very fast and nice service, English-speaking staff. Dog-friendly hotel, additional fee 10 euros per dog. Delicious, but very small breakfast.

Lovely little room and bathroom. Great location, very close to the church and Luisa Picaretta museum, which is why I was in Corato. Air conditioning in the room was a life saver in the summer heat.
