I loved the relaxed atmosphere, the silence, the views from the room's balcony and last, but not least, the personnel - a family business that welcomes you with joy, respect and curiosity.

The intimate nature of the property. It didn’t have the “business” feel that bigger chain accommodation organisations have. This had a much more “personal” interaction feel about it. Cleanliness was exceptional.

Great location! Highly recommend! Older hotel, but still really nice. The breakfast was small but good. The scenery is amazing! Lots of walking trails behind the hotel. Cute small town that you can walk to restaurants and a grocery store!

All brand new and very well furnished.

We were satisfied with the room, it was clean, comfy, toilet was big and clean. Breakfast was great, I would maybe prefer more savory food selection, the sweet selection was way bigger. Location was also great, in the center of the Sappada which is very cute and picturesque village.

The view is amazing, rooms refurbished and much better than others we experienced in the area (we travelled around in the Dolomites). Owners very serviceminded!

The location is absolutely magical. We booked on the fly as we were doing a road trip with our 18-year old daughter. Upon arrival, the lady at reception told us she thinks the room we booked might be a bit small for the three of us and gave us a small suite with an extra bedroom for my daughter - at no extra costs! Both bedrooms had a balcony overlooking the beautiful lake and surroundings. Although this is not a modern hotel, our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful - gave us good tips for restaurants and shopping in the small town. I can imagine this must be a beautiful place for families to spend a relaxing summer holiday.

All, the staff is wonderful. Great location, it is a great place to stay . I really strongly recommend. We spent lovely time and we wish to come back.

The Perfect Stay. Nestle in the heart of the Dolomites in a town called Sappada, you find this piece of paradise. With panoramic views and it’s great location this hotel is the perfect mountain hotel. We came in winter for skiing but we need to return in the summer for walking trails. I think we may need to come this summer to enjoy nice long walking adventures. With nearly 200 year of family history, this hotel is run by Carla & Mauricio (the owners) and they’ll make you feel like one of their own. I mean it. Nice does not begging to describe them. They are the soul to the Earth. Carla is in charge of the kitchen, she makes italian style croissants and all sort of home made cakes every morning!. The natural yogurt is brought daily by a local farmer with a recipe that has been in the family for generations. Mauricio is a force of nature, friendly, chatty and ever so helpful. The place has been done recently in truly dolomite style with stunning craftsmanship wood work. It’s the perfect mixed between traditional & modern. And as a designer myself i have felt inspired What can i say… it’s a 10 out of 10 for us. We will be back
