Excellent, a real feeling of being a guest and not only a wallet as it happens in many hotels nowadays. Staff gentilissimo, grazie tante. Cremona can be done in a day, or an afternoon. The city centre is small, the number of sites worth while are few. The number of good places to spend the night, based on my search a few months before arrival, are also few. Consider driving in for the day, and staying somewhere else for the night.

As far as we were concerned, the main landmarks were the beautiful Cathedral, its tall and elegant tower, and the Cathedral Square. For music lovers there's the Museo Stradivari dedicated to the violin and violin-making. A tradition still alive in Cremona to this day both in terms of violin making and of schools to teach/ better playing the instrument. Just walking along the colourful streets ( with the colours typical of Northern Italy/ Veneto region) is a feast for the eyes.

There are many restaurants but they are not so good, so cook...

There are many restaurants but they are not so good, so cook in your rented apartment. Old town not suitable for cars but walking around the town is easy. Apart from the Cathedral the old town is really for lovers of everything to do with the violin. There are violin makeres in every street! The Museo del Violino is an essential visit!

The perfect place to absorb what makes Cremona so special- Not only a small renaissance and medieval village with modern comforts, but a center of musical life in Italy, and not far from Tuscany, Emilia Romagna or even Milano.

Cremona is full of history, ha many renaissance buildings and history and yet is empty of tourists, even Italian ones. It is a relaxed’ friendly place and less expensive than other cities in the region.

Beautiful Historic center, fantastic coffee shops specially the one in front of the theater , the coffe shop Al 41, staff really professional, food and coffe perfect. The city is really clean and safe. Nice to small shopping for clothes in Italian good brands.

Cremona is a small city, so location is not that important, but this hotel is located on the middle of the violin museum and the cathedral of Cremona, so it was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was satisfactory. I was able to check on 14:00 and check out at noon, so I could take my time. Everything was perfect.

Close to train station so it was great location for us to take day trips into Milan, Mantova and also walking distance to Cremona's Cathedral. Very clean and well designed. Owner was very understanding. Safe and quiet place. Supermarket nearby.
