A very kneat, cleaned home and very well furnished house. Everything we needed was there. The place is located quite near Leolandia (just take V bus from Dalmine and is a straight connection with just 3 euros per person). Also a car rental is very suitable because of the many parking places around the property.

As we had only 4 nights there, we only ate at Il Gattopardo,...

As we had only 4 nights there, we only ate at Il Gattopardo, which was excellent, friendly staff and a lovely inside area, where you can enjoy a drink, when the weather has a heavy rain shower. It was about a twenty minute walk from where were staying, open evenings only, We walked 40 minutes to Trattoria di Sole, as it opened at Lunchtime, again the food and drinks were very good. Friendly staff, limited English, as is our Italian. Our host did recommend hiring a car, as we were spending some of our time at the Frontiers Rock Festival in Trezzo Sul'Adda but it was only 2 bus stops fom Dalmine, the buses are good value for money but taxi's are expensive, 10 Euros each on the way back from the festival, as it finished too late for the last bus. We had a supermarket which was really close, but there was a Lidl if you wanted to walk further into the town. It does have some industry but there a parks and grassed area's, which you probably may not notice if you're in a car, I would stay there again, as it was very peaceful and quiet, near our apartment.

The man at reception was very pleasant and more than helpful he’s doing a great job. As for the hotel, You get what you pay for. The hotel looks as though it’s going through a refurb through the halls, hopefully they will tackle the rooms as the look untouched since the 90’s.

Check-in was possible 24/7, so it was great that because our flight was arriving late at night, we found a warm, comfortable and clean room to sleep. The location was near to Bergamo airport and parking is available at the hotel.
