PolandAn incredible place. Located in the small village of Valleremita, it has a truly wonderful atmosphere - that Triumph car parked in front of the church feels like pure magic.
Our stay at B&B Casa Caporali was also amazing - we felt as if we were spending holidays at our aunt’s house. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a wonderful breakfast served by the owner (warm greetings from Poland!).
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, everything was spotless, and the whole place smelled beautiful. We highly recommend it!

Fabriano is a small, old town in an area of Italy not often frequented by tourists. It is the historic home of watermarked paper and paper used for money. There is an excellent museum of paper and on of local art.

Walking around main and side streets of Fabriano always...
Walking around main and side streets of Fabriano always brings me something new. It's a gem of a town! The theatre often has live performances of all kinds and is a must to see even if there aren't any events. A paper-making demonstration and sometimes a hands-on class is another wonderful way to spend an afternoon (or a weekend). Food-wise, there are lots of choices and if you're around on the weekend, make sure you book. Fabrianese like to eat out in their own town so things are often booked in advance. We really like 'Osteria San Biagio' - innovative twists on local dishes and a lovely atmosphere.

We loved exploring Fabriano and the local area.
We loved exploring Fabriano and the local area. It is off the normal tourist trail, despite being on a main train line with plenty to see and do once you are there. The Fabriano paper making museum is fascinating - we requested an English language tour by email and we ended up with a personalised tour, which was so appreciated - fabulous staff there. The art gallery was also well set out and very informative - we were amazed at the early artwork there. The amazing stalagmites and stalactites of the underground Frassassi caves are a short drive or train ride away and are absolutely stunning and worth the effort to get to. Nearby to the caves is walk up the hill to the Valadier temple set into a mountain cave - awesome views and well worth the uphill effort!

A fully renovated historical mansion in the heart of Fabriano. This boutique hotel has been finished to the highest standards, the attention to detail is remarkable. The bedding, soft furnishings and furniture etc are all of excellent quality. A design gem! The staff are very professional and knowledgeable, the breakfast was excellent too. Looking forward to trying the wellness centre which also looked fabulous!

Warm & welcoming with a lovely host. Fabriano is a great base from which to explore but don't overlook the lovely town centre. Stayed an extra night & would definitely return if I came this way again.
