The Cavallino is a hotel in the typically Romagna town of Faenza. It offers free WiFi throughout and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV. At the hotel, every room has a desk. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was very clean and quite large. Breakfast was nice also. Good selection. Nice atmosphere in the hotel.
Agriturismo Trerè is a working farm on the hills of Faenza, surrounded by extensive gardens and vineyards. It offers free parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a typical local restaurant. A beautiful setting among the vineyards, especially with the fall colors. Staff was very helpful with our extra requests.
Free parking plus air-conditioned rooms and studios are offered at Caterina Residence, a family-run property located 3 km from Faenza’s centre. All accommodation is provided with free WiFi. Urbano and his wife were wonderful, attentive, warm hosts.Catarina Residence could almost be described as a boutique B&B down a quiet country lane about 3 kilometers from the centre of Faenza. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed, there is also ample on site, secure parking. An excellent breakfast is provided and can be enjoyed in the garden, whilst being serenaded by the resident blackbirds. We thoroughly enjoyed out 3 night stay, and were also impressed by the town of Faenza itself, probably one of the less well known in Italy.
Situated in Faenza, 35 km from Cervia, Campanacci Agriturismo features a restaurant and free WiFi. Located on a hill with fanstatic views! Honest local dinner with their own wine. Perfect location for a trip to Bologna and Ravenna. Also don't forget to visit Faenza and the little medieval village Brisighella. Friendly owners!
With a tranquil, idyllic location in the heart of a beautiful park, this luxurious 4-star superior hotel has superb relaxation facilities and is ideal for a restful, restorative break. Very nice environment, friendly staff. We ate the best pasta in Italy in their restaurant. Really nice location to have some chill days at the end of our very active holiday in Italy.
Surrounded by the Romagna countryside, Locanda Merlaschio offers a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi. This property features a garden with children's playground, and classic-style rooms. The staff is so nice and profesional. The rooms were very very clean and had a beautifull view, nature all around. Food and vine excellent! Also, the "hotels dog", Lola, is the sweetest dog host ever!!!
Nice town to walk and dine in and things are all convenient to train station. Nice art museum. I only come to Faenza for business, but am happier here than in the larger cities and look forward to something more relaxing and less stressful than Venice, Florence, Rome, etc.
We discovered Faenza when planning our first trip to Greece by car with our dog 6 years ago as it is only a 2 hour trip to Ancona ferry. We have stayed in the center, on fruit farms on the outskirts and among olive groves and vineyards up in the hills behind Faenza We love it all.
I'm from Faenza, but I moved ten years ago to the UK. I come back once a year to get together with family and it's a nice little gem near Bologna, Firenze and the Seaside of the Adriatic coast. Great food and drinks, also the International Museum of Ceramic is beautifull
What a great little find! Booked last minute and got last room and the receptionist was apologising as it was literally in front of the reception desk. No need room was more than adequate. This is something different than the boring hotels I sometimes have to stay in. Fabulous old building with lots of history with huge ceilings , beams and brick floors. Very clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Food in restaurant was excellent so no need to go out!! Will re-book again shortly.
There is ample free parking in front of the hotel and the rooms are very spacious. Built in a kind of Brutalist style (which I like) the hotel is a 15 mins walk from the centre of Faenza. The lobby of the hotel is also spacious and is home to a number of Vespa scooters, a delightfully quirky touch. The management were very friendly and helpful. The recommended restaurant, Cucina Briganti, was superb with reasoable prices and a wide menu choice including pizza and regional dishes.
The rooms are very big and spacious, the hotel is like an author art gallery, Phillipe Artias is the artist, a French expressionist. The breakfast is great, some of the ingredients are from local farm. There is big garden with trees, herbs, vegetables, flowers. Very nice. There is a highway close, but you can not hear the noise from inside. The nights were really quiet. The host Miria is very helpful and eager to do anything to make your stay great. Grazie, Miria!
No people at front dest from 23:00-7:00am! We faced a crazy big young group of Italian next to our rooms for 2 nights. Even after complaining, Hotel Management was unable to fix that for the 2nd night at least. Emergency call number at front desk did not work. Only blablabla and sorry was all they could do for there guest who could not sleep until 2:00am. For 1 night, that Hotel is OK for business people.
We stay here regularly on our journeys across Europe. It is great. On this occasion in the time of vivid our hosts had taken relevant precautions and we felt very safe and secure. It is a little gem in the beautiful hills outside Faenza and the hosts and their staff are impeccable. Dinner is fresh and delicious. I should stop writing such good reviews or I'll never get a room.
This hotel was sparkling clean and incredibly comfortable! The rooms had ample space, totally exceeded my expectations. The staff was so kind and friendly. The free bike rentals was a huge bonus and made it so convenient to ride into town every day. Although I didn't get a chance to use the pool, it looked very clean and well-maintained. I would 100% stay here again.
A beautiful road under the trees leads to a pleasant place. Actually, it is more of a country hotel than an agritourism farm. Nice owners, good breakfasts, swimming pool, well-air-conditioned rooms - some with kitchen. A place open to unusual needs - I left a car with a trailer there for 2 weeks to ride motorbikes around beautiful Italy - there was no problem.
Beautifully landscaped with great pool area and excellent restaurant. Very lively during the weekend with - welldressed - locals and lovely quiet on the weekdays (only 5 rooms, the restaurant is not open on every day of the week but options nearby, Faenza is only a short drive).
Wonderful hotel between the train station and the center, both for a short walking. The hotel was decorated with all kinds of ceramics which gave to it a very spacial look and feeling. It is always pleasant to be surrounded by nice objects. The breakfast was correct.
This place was perfectly situated for us to get the train into Bologna for the Fiera. We parked near the station at Castel Bolognese. We were able to have an early breakfast which was plentiful. It is also convenient for going into Faenza.
Beautiful location, very cool being a working vineyard as well as a small family run hotel with a pool. Wasn’t too over crowded considering the close proximity to Bologna. Lovely staff and very good (and reasonably priced) wine!
The staff is so nice and profesional. The rooms were very very clean and had a beautifull view, nature all around. Food and vine excellent! Also, the "hotels dog", Lola, is the sweetest dog host ever!!!
Very nice environment, friendly staff. We ate the best pasta in Italy in their restaurant. Really nice location to have some chill days at the end of our very active holiday in Italy.
