Hospitable and pleasant hosts. We were late for almost 3 hours and contacted the hostess. She reassured us and said she would wait. Very tasty breakfast.

Gavi is a rural area not particularly set up for tourism.
Gavi is a rural area not particularly set up for tourism. There aren't many tourist attractions, unless you count the Serravalle designer outlet mall! The town of Gavi is tiny. Don't expect much night life. It would definitely help if you could speak a bit of Italian. You will definitely need a car. No such thing as a local taxi service so you'll also need to work out how to visit vineyards without driving. (Stay at a B&B on a vineyard or an agriturismo).
There are train links from nearby Arquata to Genova, Turin etc.

Gavi is a very pleasant little town with several bars, wine...
Gavi is a very pleasant little town with several bars, wine bars and restaurants and, in early June, most of the clients were locals. Paticceria la Pieve was excellent for evening Gavi wine aperitifs and very generous canapés.
The town is surrounded by vineyards and is very close to a major Macarthur Glen shopping outlet as well as the main north-south motorway.

Gavi is a small town located between Genova, Milano, Torino.
Gavi is a small town located between Genova, Milano, Torino.
1,5 h by car and we arrived to Portofino.
15 mins by car and we had a cool shopping in Serravalle Scrivia designer outlet.
10-15 mins and you have Lidl.
We really enjoyed the swimming pool.
And we had a guided tour to the fort located on the mountain with a spectacular view.

Our host, Daniella, was waiting for us with a big smile. She was ever ready to answer our questions and do whatever we asked for. The room was super clean and well-equipped with everything we might need. She even prepared breakfast we did not ask when we booked. It was one of the best and most pleasant stays.

Nice B&B in Gavi center. Great old-style rooms, nice breakfast provided. Great free private parking just a few meters from the B&B as part of the package. Central location in the small Gavi place just next to the church. Pitty that we did not have time for a longer stay and more investigation of the surroundings as well as vine bars, and uphill castle. Superb and hospital host. We booked 2 rooms from which one had large balcony looking on the river passing by at the other side of the city center. Recommended B&B in full.

Wonderful stay in a small town Gavi. Fully equiped kitchen with all necessary things. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, perfect view. The owner was very attentive, responded very fast to all my messages. Parking nearby. Cool pool 2 mins away. Shopping in outlet Serravalle Scrivia ~ 15 mins by car.
