Of the 18 hotels I checked into during a recent trip thru Italy, Elisabetta at Reception was far and away the most pleasant person I encountered. This is not a knock on the other 17, just a statement of how enjoyable it was to be greeted by Elisabetta after a long day of travel. She was very helpful, offering dinner suggestions since the hotel's restaurant was closed that evening. She possesses a natural charm and grace, and was just a pleasure to meet and interact with. Her near perfect English was another plus.

The room was comfortable and quiet. Andrea was very thoughtful. We were traveling by bicycle and had hoped to eat dinner at his restaurant on site. The restaurant was closed the evening we were there, but he made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant in Genga, drove us there, gave us a short tour of the village, and picked us up afterward. He did serve an excellent breakfast at the B&B the next morning. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely return. The area is stunning.
