The place is in the centre of the village of Gioi. It is possible to leave the car inside (go with a small car the streets are ultra narrow) and visit the village by walk. The place has garden and courtyard for relax and breakfast. It's really good to have breakfast under a canopy made by a kiwi plant. The view from the room was really good with two clock towers. Be prepared to know always what time is it. Rooms are well designed to save space, have air conditioning and good shower.

We had a wonderful stay at Iumra Relax Resort. The rooms were exceptionally clean and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail that made the experience truly special. We especially enjoyed the buffalo farm tour – it was both fun and informative. The restaurant stood out with its high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, offering delicious dishes that reflected the region's character. Highly recommended!

I can only give this place my very best recommendation. - the host is fantastically friendly, not only that, it is a real Italian oasis located in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast is delicious and there is plenty of it. the rooms are in excellent condition and very accommodating. The pool is just as nice as in the pictures. If you are in the area - do yourself the favor of driving past this place.

We loved how central it was to the village. It had a lovely local shop right next to it, and a 2 minute walk into the town Square. It was so comfortable and modern. Everything was brand new. The shower was amazing and brilliant water pressure. We loved how we could watch some TV and chill in the evening before heading out to dinner. A perfect base to explore surrounding places like Palinuro, Agropoli, and a beautiful beach at Ascea. Alessandra was so helpful and communicative through out our whole stay. Giving us recommendations as well as answering any questions we had. 100% would stay here again.

Italy has so much more to offer than what you can see in the...

Italy has so much more to offer than what you can see in the major places. There are many hill towns in Italy, I've only been to a few, but despite the challenges of its distance from major centers, I felt a vitality and optimism there. It is extremely clean. The properties are mostly all well-maintained. The setting and views are as good as it gets. On a clear day you can see the island of Capri, even though you are some distance inland. In addition to remains of the city walls, attractive churches, and the beautiful views, there is a former Franciscan monastery that is in the process of being renovated. It really is very impressive. There are some challenges for the visitor. Because the population is small, there are only a couple of restaurants in town and these were closed for the part of September I was there. It just meant I had to drive five minutes down the road to a (very good) farm/restaurant. There are a few other choices in nearby towns. There are several small food shops and coffee bars that will make you a good sandwich.
