The ambiance, like stepping into another world of long ago … the staff were so helpful and Paul - a member of the family who owns the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant cuisine choice was excellent and again the amazing knowledgeable staff of great wines. The bedlinen was 100% linen and the bed with topper … so comfortable the huge mosaic circular Bath / rain shower was fantastic and towels were excellent quality. We loved it there and the town was charming with many boutiques and historic features along with great restaurants too. Parking was just adjacent for a small fee.

Very spacious apartment with separate comfortable kitchen, private entrance. Perfect localisation for visiting Frascati and other Castelli Romani as well as Rome itself. Parking availacle in close vicinity without restrictions (which is rare in this Castelli Romani region) Owner extremely kind and caring. We were invited for Italian breakfast with fresh croissant, yoghurt, coffee and juice by hospitable hosts. We recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The view was incredible. The manager, Mauritzio, goes above and beyond. Truly, I think he does too much -- he probably needs to hire a couple of teenagers to take some of the smaller stuff off of his plate so he can do the thing that he's REALLY, REALLY good at: interacting with the guests. From the first day, my wife and I started fantasizing about coming back with our friends and family.

Very friendly host. Clean room and bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Good food and grocery stores at walking distance. Close to Castel Gandolfo lake and sightseeing. Great place to stay if coming by car. Parking inside the premises. On the down side, WiFi was not very reliable.

We need a car.

We need a car. The towns, sites and restaurants were excellent. We loved staying at the Tenuta Cusamano. We enjoyed touring the nature/archaelogical site of Tuscolum over the weekend when the ruins are open to the public. we did not see another American in 5 days.

Grottaferrata is a very small town.

Grottaferrata is a very small town. I was there for work but I had time to walk around and see a bit. There is the Monastery of Santa Maria that dates back to 1024 with a beautiful church inside that is worth a visit. There is a museum but it was closed when I visited. I thought I would have a harder time finding parking but it wasn't too bad. For a great meal try La Casina del Buon Gusto. The chef's specialty was buonissimo and the prices are excellent. Avoid the Ristorante da Leo. Overpriced and not very good. There is a Fresco Market grocery store within walking distance of the downtown area which has just about everything, including American Hershey's for some reason!

Gorgeous! We loved staying here. It was very chilled and everyone who worked there was warm, friendly, and laid back (in a good way!) so we felt we could really relax and find our own pace. No starchiness or corporate vibes. We didn’t have a car but it was no problem we got around with taxis, Uber, and free shuttle bus. A great place and lovely part of Italy to explore.

The property was very secluded, situated off the main road, so very quiet and peaceful, it had lovely gardens and views over the spectacular countryside. The hotel was perfectly clean and the pool was ideal and never busy. The owner could not do enough to make your stay as special as possible, I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Everything! This is a great little hotel and the staff couldn’t do enough for us: so kind and helpful. It was my partner’s first visit to Italy, and this was a great start: lovely, clean, comfortable room and a superb breakfast.
