We were lucky to choose the hotel where we spent a lovely weekend together. Although the season has only started, it was very hospitable and very cosy in a hotel, for which we are grateful to its polite team. Planning to be back soon.

Very kind host/staff. We got a room with view to the sea and enjoyed our stay. Hotel is close to the station and only 5 min. to walk to the city and sea. Everything was clean and slept very well.

On arrival we booked in easily, no language issues and got the parking permit for the town, fabulous to be able to park anywhere. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast had a very large selection for an Italian B&B. From the hotel very easy to walk along the promenade to the centre of Gaeta. Nice little touches with drink on arrival, discount for nearby restaurants etc. Would stay here again if returning.

Staff were so friendly and very helpful. Parking very close by at €8 a day and only a few minutes walk into the square with all restaurants and shops. It’s a basic hotel but clean and convenient and fantastic air conditioning in room. The lovely staff on reception are a credit to this hotel and make it a memorable stay.

Very warm, welcoming people work there. We had the most pleasant stay ending season. Still the breakfast was nice, we got all support and tips we need and I would go there again any time. They also had a private beach in walking distance.

Everything was amazing. Our stay, our amazingly kind hosts, the view, the breakfast and a cute little cat that stays in the yard and accompanies you during breakfast.

Most of all, the staff - the ladies on Reception (Francesca especially) were delightful and so helpful when we decided to stay on for an extra night. The restaurant staff achieved the perfect balance between being friendly and yet professional. The beach is fantastic, the food is great, my room had a balcony with sea view - couldn't have asked for more really. The location between Gaeta and Sperlonga is perfect for visiting either town. The lifts all over the hotel made getting around so easy.

Such a beautiful property in a great location with beautifully decorated rooms. Great sea views. Spotlessly clean. The staff here are so friendly. Lovely buffet breakfast with something for everyone. We found out this was once residency to Queen Helena which would have been a beautiful place to live.

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area within walking distance of the beach. Rooms and bathrooms were well maintained, think they may have been recently refurbished (loved the tiles) and were spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was great. Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was a bonus.

Hotel la Playa was located right on the beach and situated right on the main road where all the restaurants and shops were. The hotel pool is incredible, clean, large and deep (with a shallow end as well). The beach is gorgeous and there is a hotel lifeguard on the beach to keep the clientele and their things safe. Hotel accommodations included beach beds and umbrellas which was a huge relief. The included breakfast was very good with many options and the cappuccino was delicious. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. We strongly recommend Hotel la Playa for your stay in Sperlonga and will return without a doubt!

It's great that it's close to the sea and both the pool and the room are always clean! Kind and welcoming service staff. Even if you don't understand Italian, the communication is always kind and you can understand everything from half a word 🤗

We loved the location - the setting of Aeneas Landing is stunning and hard to beat. The cabins on the beach (where we stayed) are so close to the sea, and it's lovely to hear the waves. The architecture of the resort is really special and distinctive - we particularly love the pool and bar area. All of the planting and garden spaces are gorgeous. The beach is well-maintained and perfect for relaxing on. The breakfast is amazing - the best cornetti I've ever had in Italy! Honestly wonderful. We also had lunch in the restaurant one afternoon. I am from the area and find the prices very inflated, but what we had (3 contorni) was delicious. One evening, we had some family come to visit us at the bar. We all had one (expensive) drink, but the staff brought out an incredible spread of aperitivi snacks. A nice touch.
