This property is very nice. It is clean and well decorated with subtle interesting pieces. The location is directly on the beach, and the use of umbrellas and chairs close to the shoreline with spectacular. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants with a huge bonus. The provided breakfast was delicious. I did not expect a fresh toasted Panini with amazing coffee. The staff is kind and helpful.

I needed to get away from my work for a while as we will be getting busy soon. It was very nice to sleep in a normal bed and have a nice room all to myself. I relaxed hooked up my videogame systems and used faster wifi to update and download all the things I couldn’t for months. I have to detox from the shipboard environment especially when I’m on it 24/7 almost the whole year! So I appreciate the little getaway in Gaeta and I’ll be back. Some things that could be a bit betterr are the TV’s and how they are. It was a bit of a challenge to hook up my game systems to the TV because of the angle it was hung on the wall but I eventually got it. Also I was surprised that there was no air conditioning here only a heater but since it’s cold outside and not like the tropics where I come from it’s okay. Just open the window and you’ll be fine. If you want to update and download you can’t leave the room because the power will go off. The massage was great and the staff was very friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff was nice as I wanted 2 waters and the brought it to me very fast. I wish I could have stayed longer but duty calls. Next time hopefully I can stay more days and nights at Hotel Gajeta. It’s very convenient for me because it’s right across from where I work so it’s not far at all, I can just walk right over anytime. There was a particular server who served the eggs and the bacon and salami in the morning for breakfast that was a bit stingy with the portions, and there was an another server that was very giving of the portions. I know no server is created equal but for breakfast if you want more you have to speak up, don’t automatically think they’ll give you exactly what you want, they don’t know how much you want unless you kindly let them know. I remember when it was self serve but they changed it since 2 years ago when I was there. Other than that it was a nice peaceful, restful, and amazing time.
