Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.StuartUnited Kingdom - Scored 1010
Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.
Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

Very good location - just a short walk from the train station and close to the bus station. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Clean towels were always available upon request. Low-quality, cheap furnishings. Safe didn't work. Free Wi-Fi didn't work. AC was too weak to cool the room. Bathroom and shower were very small, difficult to use (I'm 6ft tall, 225lbs). Found ants in the room. No iron and iron board in the room

The room we stayed in had all the expected features as you'd expect. The breakfast was very delicious and satisfying. The front desk people were helpful and informative/knowledgeable. My spouse loves to take a bath, but our room only had a shower.

The management was very accommodating.
The management was very accommodating. They gave us space to snack and visit with our friends and provided us with water. We were blessed and appreciative, especially since we didn’t feel up to going out. Also, in the morning, the croissants were freshly made for us and the chef was willing to bake another for me if I had the time to wait. Also, one in our group was ill and the management allowed her to stay longer while the rest of us toured. VERY accommodating!!!!!!

Close enough to Venice, and decent and reasonably priced restaurants. Almost nothing to do or see, it can be a drag to have to commute to Venice. Not recommended for couples, maybe more a place for families or bigger groups to save some money over staying in Venice.MatteoNetherlands

We had an early flight, they packed an early breakfast for us, extremely good customer service. We were using public transport, nearest bus halt is 800m away. It doesn't feel tiring though, we travelled end of October. The bus to take is 6L from "Piazza Mercato" to go to Venice Island.
