Stunning property that was wonderfully peaceful when we arrived and just what we needed after the august crowds at the coast. The staff were not there when we arrived but left a key for us and info which was perfect! We also had been contacted by WhatsApp with any info we might need eg. Local restaurant with gf options which was great 😊 (Il melograno in palmanova was fantastic and highly recommend for gf or non gf alike! Innovative and delicious food) Pool is lovely, set amongst a large green space with lots of trees for natural shade. There were plenty of loungers and space with only occasional couple of people using the area. Communal fridge so you can purchase cold drinks for the pool. Local wines on offer. Rooms were very cute and comfortable and there was fridge and air con. We felt very welcomed and at home even though the property is quite grand. Breakfast was a highlight and the lady on reception was super friendly bringing us everything we might need. She also gave us great local info with a hand drawn tour on a map to follow and see the best sights! Really lovely all round!

The pool was lovely and clean. Well maintained. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. The hotel was very clean, it is old fashioned, so if you want modern, it's not for you, but it was right up our street. 15 minutes from Gorica which was perfect for us.

Everything was great. Friendly staff (family owned hotel and restaurant), clean rooms. Great food at the l’Osteria but also the Michelin guide restaurant is worth a visit!

Well, it offers everything for a golfer, travelling home from Italy. Good accommodation, restaurant is really nice, they have some good local wines too.

The property was spectacular, the only bad thing was that we had only booked one night. Could have stayed forever. Everything was perfect.

Our room was exceptionally large and beautiful from a design perspective, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was also excellent, both wait staff and chef. A real highlight was the cellar.
