Residenza d'epoca Luca Pacioli is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at in Italy. Here 4 stars means 4 stars, unlike most Italian 4 star hotels that are really 2/2.5 stars. The room was spotless and decorated in a way that beautifully integrated the history of the palazzo with the needs of modern clients, and the bed linens and towels were very high quality, an absolute rarity in Italy. The breakfast buffet was decent, not ample, with many locally sourced products, but unfortunately with a fair amount of pre-packaged products as well.

Great location and great value. Breakfast is very good, the room is bright and spacious, very clean and the bathroom is big and well furnished. Air conditioning is great in summer. The receptionist is outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fluent in multiple languages.

The accommodations were lovely, comfortable and within easy walking distance of all we wanted to do. But it is the hostess Chiara who makes this place special. Warm, funny, helpful and so accommodating to all our needs, including having set the rooms up so that there is use of a kitchen--- a real boon for someone who, like me, travels in spite of multiple food allergies. Thank you Chiara. We cannot wait to come back!

The owners are so friendly, helpful and have the most adorable dog that was downstairs when we checked in (inside his art studio!). Great location, and easy parking if you arrive by car. There are lots of stairs, so you earn your pasta and wine, the common space is delightful, and my room was spacious, so comfortable and came with two huge windows with amazing views of the town. Breakfast is at your leisure, it comes with coffee, yogurts, toasts and spreads, cereals and a house specialty coffee cake. Bonus is a still and sparkling water filter/dispenser in the kitchen and glass bottles that you can fill up to have in your room.

Very comfortable place in a beautiful location with a stunning view from the window. We were following the Way of St.Francis and the place has everything a tired pilgrim needs- hot shower, washing mashine, balcony for drying your stuff and a kitchen for preparing your big daily meal. It is small but nice and extra clean. And the owner is very friendly and tried to accomodate all our requests.
