I am very satisfied with this beautiful hotel located in the city-center of Montepulciano. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The parking place is also included and you can see your car from the room. Breakfast was full of different tasty food and fruits. Around the hotel are many local restaurants and bars - you are directly in the center of the town.

Me encanto el hotel , la ubicación y las amenidades
Montepulciano is beautiful and old and hilly and kind of mysterious. It's fun to walk around – although your legs get sore! All the old buildings and streets and alleys were super cool. It was also great being in the heart of wine country. We'd heard a lot about Italian hospitality but didn't get a whole lot of that – it was still fun to explore ourselves, thpough.
The setting was breathtaking. The accommodation was picture book perfect and included free parking! The views from the bell tower, directly across the piazza, made the climb worth every step! Highly recommended but allow yourself a minimum of a two night stay!
We had the great fortune of stumbling into the start of their week-long Bravio delle Botti festivities in which the neighborhoods compete against one another to roll wine barrels up the steep streets of the historical center. We got to see fantastic performances by the drum and flagwaving groups, have fantastic dinners put on by each of the 8 neighborhoods (contrade), and enjoy some shows put on in the Piazza Grande. The town itself is steep and filled with cantinas. Gorgeous historical hill town surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves. It's Tuscany at its finest. Fairly well touristed, so be cognizant of prices and a few tourist traps, but otherwise very pleasant.
Montepulciano is a small town and everything is within walking distance, but it's very hilly (up and down). There are several good dining/drinking options (Trattoria di Cagnano on via Dell'Opio Nel Corsa was great for a late dinner!) and good for shops (tourist and retail/clothing/leather). Wine tasting is a must too (great wine options by the glass at the Montepulciano fortress and Enoliteca on via Di Gracciano Nel Corso)
This is a very nice city, however not for the faint of heart. You have to be in good shape as you are walking steep up hill to get to the top of the city. The main street is downhill, so if you happen to stay in a hotel at the top of the hill, you are constantly walking up and down to get anywhere. There is some paid parking at the top, the rest of the parking is down the hill. It is a nice city to visit for the day, not worth staying overnight. There are some wine stores, I recommend Talosa,(off a side street near Piazza grande) they have a wine cellar worth looking at as it is an old tunnel built during WWII. Sales girl was very friendly and helpful
Beautiful town with lots of history. The views of the Tuscany valleys are amazing!! Breathtaking. The town has good shopping, lots of excellent restaurants and many sites to see. Lots of wine tours and tasting. The pace is relaxed in Montepulciano - which is a nice break if you are coming from Rome, Florence or other bigger centers. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect amount of time to relax, have some excellent food and wine and enjoy the views.
I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel close to Montepulciano. The staff exuded genuine warmth, always ready to assist and make our stay comfortable. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and designed to enhance relaxation. But what truly took our breath away was the astonishing view of the Tuscan landscape that greeted us every day. Nestled perfectly to offer a panorama of Tuscany's beauty, this hotel is a gem for those wanting to immerse themselves in the region's splendor. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway.
Montepulciano
We LOVED our stay here. The hotel sits on a beautiful property where the family has vineyards and olive trees, with a view of the town of Montepulciano right from the backyard. There is a free shuttle service where they will drive you into and out of the town of Montepulciano which is very convenient! The restaurant, which provides breakfast (included) and also dinner (paid), is so great. Despite the history of the building (700 years old!) the bathrooms have been renovated and are very new and clean! Such a lovely stay!!
Montepulciano
Perfect hideaway in Tuscany hills with lovely view to Montepulciano ancient city. The pool side is one of the greatest we have ever seen. Joel’s bruschetta are just perfect, dinner and breakfast with Andrea is a pleasure and Marco makes sure you have the best wine choice for your dinner. Thanks a lot to Martin to check-in an make sure everything is fine 👍 We always felt welcomed from the whole team and want to send our BIG THANK YOU for make this vacation so special. We are looking forward to come back. Claus & Julia
Montepulciano
The accomodation is ideally located at the foot of Montepulciano (5 minute ride). The accomodation and surrounding garden were huge (for the two of us) and all required facilities were accounted for. We were well received by the owners, who are very friendly and took the time to run us through all the items at the accommodation. A plus for us, having travelled quite a bit through Italy and stayed at various locations, was how quiet the area is. An ideal location to explore the surrounding area and get a good rest.
Montepulciano
Like living in a farm house in the Tuscan countryside. The breakfast area was spacious and well decorated. Most of the rooms have excellent views, and balconies. Our room was spacious, with an armoire and a desk, The breakfast was our best in Italy, with numerous options available (chosen the night before), and everything was top quality (charcuterie, cheeses, home made pastries). Breakfast service was personal and delightful. The wild boars seen while returning one evening were a bonus o:)
Montepulciano
We loved our visit. We will be in Italy from the US for 3 weeks. This by far is the best place we have stayed. Everything was to perfection and was exactly as described in Booking.com. Spacious, gated and very safe which includes underground parking. I loved the jacuzzi tub which is almost obsolete. There is nothing like a hot bath after touring or hiking all day. A shower to rinse off is also part of the jacuzzi or soaking tub. Also a second bathroom w/ shower is a plus.
Montepulciano
Breakfast is OK, but served late from 8:30am which would be OKif there is coffee maker in the room. Being early birds we want coffee or tea as we wake up. Ramona is very friendly and served us coffee when we accidentally showed up at 8:00am. The free pick up from Montepulciano main entrance was nice and made it easy to get to the hotel. Frank who picked us up also helped us carry our luggage to our room on 2nd floor since there is no lift on the property.
A budget / basic family hotel, effectively in the centre of Montepulciano, run with passion and love. One feels like at home. Excellent advices, assistance and attitude (personal care) from the side of the owners - one does not see this very often either in Italy, or in other countries. Very comfortable mattresses. Own parking. Breakfast exceeds the standards not only of 2*, but even of many 3* hotels in Italy.
Montepulciano
Perfect location on end of the main cobblestoned street winding up to top of Montepulciano. Room was a suite with with soft blue colors, much larger than I expected. Charming view overlooking the city and fields. Air conditioning worked during the heat wave. Decor on par on with the room rate. Check in done remotely, envelope with key easily found, but we had to use some intuition to get settled in room.
Montepulciano
Breakfast was excellent, the room was so comfortable (radiant heat on the floors - what a treat) and the view breathtaking. If you are in this area, look no further - this is the place to stay. One last word: Thank you Lucia for your hospitality. If we ever return to Italy, we will make sure to stay here in Montepulciano. Grazie mille Lucia!
Montepulciano
Everything was perfect, it was definitely the best accommodation during my Italian trip. The owners are such kind and hard-working people and they made me feel at home, plus they have two very sweet dogs! I highly recommend staying here for everyone who wants to feel what true Italy is.
The location is perfectly in the center of Montepulciano and the price is relatively low. There is everything needed available in the room including shampoos. The hotel provides a close by car park which is great and you could also enter the inner city to not carry your luggages uphill.
Montepulciano
Everything was great !!! This was beatiful, arranged with perfect taste apartment with two bedrooms. One of the best places I've ever been. Perfect for Montepulciano and Tuscany. You can feel the atmosphere of ancient Italy. Total reccomendation :)
Montepulciano
Beautiful Tuscany hotel on the grounds of a working vineyard. Great restaurant and breakfast buffet. Spacious rooms with an old Italy feel. Lots of free parking. Would happily stay here again.
Montepulciano
The property was absolutely stunning! Best view in Montepulciano! The meal I had in Italy cooked by owner Igor (Michelin chef). Top notch customer service, amazing breakfast, beautiful rooms!
Location is perfect just downhill of Montepulciano. Tuscany view is amazing. Staff is helpful. Hotel territory has a lot of places to relax. Breakfast is basic.
Montepulciano
Stunning, historic mountaintop property in the heart of Montepulciano. Breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace and an accommodating and attentive staff.
