Hotel I Due Cigni is set in Sant'Albino, less than half a mile from the spa at Montepulciano Terme, where you will enjoy discounts. Free Wi-Fi is provided. We practically LOVED everything! If you read this comment don't think twice. Book a room at this fantastic hotel and thank me later! The hotel is a newly renovated building with spacious rooms. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony and a view of the valley. It was pristine clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is located in a cute small village close to Montepulciano and Pienza (just a ten minute drive). Free parking at the property. A-list hosts! We were welcomed by the energetic, fun and cheerful Nicolo Whose contagious energy and joy, made our stay unforgettable. He and his lovely family went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He recommended good restaurants around to eat and nice hidden gems to visit around the village. The breakfast was really good with a great selection of savory and sweets. Looking forward to going back!

Great town to visit. Wished we had more time to explore Just wish that there were no fees to visit the cathedral Had a great wine tasting tour at Ecorlani wine store right in town Melani was very knowledgeable. The tasting and light fare great.
It was absolutely beautiful, it was everything that I had expected. It would be advisable to book a restaurant for dinner as they fill up fast. The wine tasting at Fattoria della Tolosa was really good as was the tour of the underground cellars. I would also recommend a wine tasting at Enoliteca del Consorzio and sit outside in the courtyard. The view is spectacular.
A beautiful town - lots to see and do, and a good home base for exploring the region. Lots of shops and restaurants were open, despite it not being the high season, and we had some amazing meals. Can't wait to come back!
Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable and affordable. Perfect location for Montepulciano! We used this area as our base and visited all the surrounding towns in Tuscany and Umbria. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious! Free parking. Free Wi-Fi! Wonderful pool to relax in if you want some R and R from traveling. I was able to do laundry, a huge plus for me as we had been traveling for two weeks through out Italy.
We loved Montepulciano! it was beautiful – classic Tuscany Hill town! Great restaurants, shops and restaurants. We found everyone there quite friendly, and the food was fabulous. It was an excellent base to explore Tuscany by car.
Montepulciano is a hill town, and the streets will remind you of that. It deserves a few days to explore on foot and it would be best to stay two or three nights. Parking, and driving, is a challenge. Touring the area before and after your stay might be a better option than day trips from town. A couple of days here would be a highlight of any trip to Italy.
Montepulciano
We loved our visit. We will be in Italy from the US for 3 weeks. This by far is the best place we have stayed. Everything was to perfection and was exactly as described in Booking.com. Spacious, gated and very safe which includes underground parking. I loved the jacuzzi tub which is almost obsolete. There is nothing like a hot bath after touring or hiking all day. A shower to rinse off is also part of the jacuzzi or soaking tub. Also a second bathroom w/ shower is a plus.
Montepulciano
First of all is the staff very friendly, helpful and easy-going in a way that makes you feel absolutely welcome. Coming there we got help with the parking (which can be difficult in the city of Montepulciano). The food was fantastic (Tiramisu!) and we got some really good ideas for activities. Secondly, the place is pure luxury in a relaxed way. Spotlessly clean and cosily decorated rooms. It was perfect for exploring Montepulciano.
Montepulciano
This small family run hotel is a gem. The rooms and apartment are large, bright, newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were engaging, full of local information and attentive to our every need. We had a quiet garden for relaxing after a long day as tourists, and a discounted breakfast at the historic Art Nouveau Cafe Polizano. If you want a welcoming and quiet stay in the heart of Montepulciano, this is it.
Montepulciano
Amazing view of wine country. The infinity pool is right on the edge of the view. Very romantic setting, away from the city. You get feeling of being in a small town in Italy. There is a farm next door with which adds to the rustic feel. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating. We were here for our honeymoon, but only stayed one night, wish we stayed another night or two. Highly recommend.
I am very satisfied with this beautiful hotel located in the city-center of Montepulciano. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The parking place is also included and you can see your car from the room. Breakfast was full of different tasty food and fruits. Around the hotel are many local restaurants and bars - you are directly in the center of the town.
Montepulciano
This bed and breakfast is a true Italian gem. We loved the fresh, charming room decor and overall vibe of the property. The interior design is impeccable! The picnic baskets available at the cheese/wine store next store were the cherry on top! Our host was friendly and warm, and she served a lovely breakfast complete with fresh baked goods and espresso.
Everything -- the staff is really lovely and accommodating, they make you feel right at home. The hotel is situated right outside Montepulciano and the front rooms have a great view of the city and Duomo. The food was exceptionally good! Rooms are comfy and had a nice relaxing time alone in the spa area. Would haaappily return for longer -- amazing value!
Montepulciano
Agroturismo La Manonera has a very special and beautiful location, I enjoyed sunrises and sunsets with a view on mountains. I had a nice apartment with kitchen, so I could prepare my own breakfast or dinner. The owner is a nice lady with kind heart, very authentic and gives a real feeling of being in Italy. loved it!!
Montepulciano
A very spacious 4 bedroom apartment in a beautiful old villa, with spectacular views of Montepulciano and Tuscan hills. Private patio. Very quiet and peaceful property. A beautiful swimming pool and deck. Walked into town in about 20 minutes. We purchased a bottle of the host’s top red wine and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Montepulciano
The bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows (unlike most other places in Italy where we’ve stayed!). The bathroom was gorgeous and very clean, with nice toiletries and slippers.
great stay in Montepulciano. There’s parking available down the street for hotel guests. Location is the best possible :) good, clean, comfortable room, good wifi, nice staff
