WOW is an understatement. So comfortable and the owner's attentiveness is as exceptional as his assistance. We arrived at midnight and he was waiting for us. He was also available for a very early breakfast. The rooms were also exceptional.

We only stayed in Nuoro for a night just for transit. It is close to the bus station going to Cala Gonone, maybe a 10 minute walk. The room was so clean and had everything we needed for a night’s stay. We arrived in Nuoro from Cagliari on a Sunday night so we didn’t see much of the place. Our host was so responsive and made sure we had a nice stay. She was accommodating and answered all our questions. We felt safe staying here.

The region (Barbagia) is a paradise for outdoors activities---hiking, climbing, trail running, spelunking, mountain biking. Moreover, one of the most beautiful sections of the Sardinian coast (the Orosei gulf) is only a half hour drive away, with great opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and sea kayaking The city is small, quiet, and very safe with excellent food. Moreover, its rich cultural tradition (Nuoro officially calls itself "The Athens of Sardinia") offers several options such as museum and exhibitions focused on the local history and culture.

This is not really a tourist town, but it's a great location...

This is not really a tourist town, but it's a great location with good access to explore. It seems a quiet town. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. We pulled over to the side of the road to take a few photos and people stopped to ask if we were ok.

Beautiful place with lovely people.

Beautiful place with lovely people. I felt safer than other cities I have visited. But obviously, you can never be too cautious. I would definitely recommend learning Italian for a while before visiting though because the locals don't speak much English and it makes it easier for everyone!

From the moment we arrived our host welcomed us with the kind of warmth and hospitality you can only imagine getting in a little mountain town on a small island - that is to say, I have not experienced anything like it but he was possibly the most lovely host I've had the pleasure of meeting at any hotel/motel/B&B etc. The room itself was surprisingly large and roomy, super clean and cosy, with an excellent bathroom.

Paolo was a great host and made sure to give us the best advice on the best places to go in Nuoro. He went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The place is very centrally located with great access to public transport. The room itself is very clean, with a lot of natural light and a good AC machine! Next time I’m in the area will definitely be staying with Paolo!

Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Room a great size,.the wifi was fantastic and choice at breakfast. A couple in their 70s with no car we could easily walk around and use bus service at door. We loved Nuoro and enjoyed the cultural institutions which easy to get to without a car. Good tours available and gorgeous countryside and ruins to visit.

Very well located property in the pedestrian zone of Nuoro. The interior is superb and tastefully decorated, a self-catering apartment with everyone one could wish for. The owner was very helpful and left us a complimentary breakfast.
