A lovely, spacious apartment situated in a small village on your way up the mountain. The owner, Alessia, greeted us with a smile and was always there to help. She also left us milk, coffee pods, chocolates, wafers as treats. The apartment has lovely views and has comfortable beds and pillows. We will be back there again definitely

Deciding to spend the weekend in Nus was very random, we knew we wanted to go somewhere near Fénis, and Nus seemed small and beautiful, so we booked there! Weherever you go you are surrounded by nature, and it is the perfect town to have a romantic weekend with your partner, and why not bring along the dog as well!

A small town with several places to eat and other shops.

A small town with several places to eat and other shops. I recommend the pastry shop for the quality rather than the price, but it's worth it. Fifteen minutes from Aosta, quiet with several parking areas, and several garbage collection points. A well-stocked, well-known grocery chain.

Pleasant and quiet location.

Pleasant and quiet location. Ideally located for exploring the area. Fénis Castle is within walking distance, as is the stunning Nus astronomical observatory. All essential services are nearby.

Nus is a small town, but it makes you feel at ease.

Nus is a small town, but it makes you feel at ease. A very quiet town, with an excellent pastry shop where you can have a good breakfast, tasting delicious pastries, including the famous Baci di Nus. Getting around is very easy, having both the main road and the highway entrance nearby.

I can't say what I liked best and what I didn't...

I can't say what I liked best and what I didn't... We love the Aosta Valley and return as often as we can. We recommend it to everyone. On this short trip, we explored some places we weren't familiar with, and Nus proved to be a perfect starting point for this goal.

The host was very friendly when we arrived and very accommodating and helpful with all our questions. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen had everything we required for cooking. Nus is a good location for exploring the different places in Val D'Aosta and we used it as base to visit the different ski areas. There is a parking spot available by the door which is a little tight but works. The host came past on the last day to check if everything was ok and to say goodbye which was a nice touch.

La Terrasse de Dyno is a great option for exploring the snow resorts Aosta valley - approx 40-50 mins from Cervino, La Thuile and Courmayeur and a little more than that (50-60) to Monterosa. The town of Nus is peaceful with a handful of restaurants and a Carrefour for groceries. There's enough dishes/appliances to cook basic meals. Great view of the mountains from the bedroom in the morning :) Parking right outside the door was usually available, or there's a free car park only a few steps away.

We absolutely loved the hospitality - unparalleled level of service and friendliness of staff. On top of that, the buildings are beautifully renovated with a gorgeous courtyard inviting you to have some rest in the peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food and local wine - a real treat. Overall very, very impressive - definitely worth visiting. Also a great value for money.

Think about 50 things that you should have in your holiday apartment. At Casa Elena you will find them all, as well as 50 others that you haven't even thought about :) This is a charming place hosted by an amiable young lady and visited by a lovely black cat. Nus is a small, nice town with shops, restaurants and a cheap gas station. A great base in the mountains and to explore the Aosta Valley.
