Family run, great location, easily walkable into the center of town. A lot of personal attention and extremely helpful. A big plus was that they have a restaurant in the hotel and it was very good. The father and son team running the establishment could not have been more personable and dad is an excellent cook. We had a very pleasant stay there.

The hosts were wonderful, very welcoming, and made sure we knew where everything was in town. The house was lovely and perfect for our family. We can also recommend the restaurant La Macchia near by.

Le Caselle is a great place to relax, just a short drive from Nusco, a charming mountain village in Avellino. The house is cozy with a fireplace, and the big garden is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. There’s also a BBQ area, making it great for family meals or gatherings. We had a wonderful time meeting old friends there. The host was very nice and gave us a warm welcome, which made our stay even better. Nusco also has a great butcher, perfect for picking up fresh meats to grill on the BBQ. It’s a peaceful spot, close to nature and a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

I had a lovely one night stopover here. Nusco is a nice village and the B&B has large, spacious rooms, located in beautiful countryside. Everything was clean and tidy, plenty of space to park and the breakfast was amazing! The host was really nice as well. Will definitely come back again in the future!

Three mates on a very loosely planned trip, we happened upon the property on Booking.com after being recommended to go to the annual Chestnut festival in neighbouring village, Montella. We were surprised when it turned out that our host Mario also had a family-run Osteria in the festival, where we were welcomed in style with ridiculously good countryside food. Those looking for a relaxed, genuine and inviting rural experience will not be disappointed! The town is well off the beaten track and beautifully situated, if authentic experience is your aim. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with water, coffee, soap etc. and within walking distance to shops and a couple of very decent local trattorias.

We really never got to the town, but we did go to a Chestnut...

We really never got to the town, but we did go to a Chestnut and Truffle Festival (last weekend in October) in nearby Bagnoli Irpino which was a blast! The whole town was a series of booths where they sold local foods, truffle and chestnut laden foods, wine, arts and crafts. Every street wide enough had these booths, music was playing everywhere and the atmosphere was fun and enjoyable.

We already wrote that in our opinion. Of course, everything depends on that what one expects. We got more of good that we expected. We stayed for a week to visit the area. For parents with children this apartment would be too small. It is perfect for a couple a single person. Probably,having a car is a must.

Beautiful hill town in the heart of Avelino in Campania.

Beautiful hill town in the heart of Avelino in Campania. If I was going to explore the country side or Irpina a little more I would have stayed another day or two. Two nights gave us just the right amount of time to get to know Nusco without going further afield.

Friendly family hotel near the old centre of Nusco. Very authentic place in the beautiful Irpinia region that is not very well known among travellers. Spacious room with view on mountains.
