I very much liked that due to low season we were offered a free upgrade and got a spacious room with a balcony. I also liked the historical furniture and decorations. They are old and sometimes imperfect but still create an ambience. The breakfast area overlooks the small bay of Rapallo and is very beautiful. The selection of breakfast foods was good, even though somewhat smaller than in other five-stars. Perhaps due to the low season (but the price was also lower than in other five-stars). Salmon, melon were present as well as custom-made omelette (but you need to ask the waiter for it, otherwise you will not know that such possibility exists). There is an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean sea which is open during the day and seems to be free of charge for all hotel guests.

This boutique hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, and included a small balcony. The breakfast was a very large buffet with homemade pastries, espresso, bacon, eggs, and more.Lorenzo was friendly and helpful with suggestions on visiting Portofino and other sites. He held our luggage for us and arranged for a taxi as we waited in the breakfast room he had opened for us. It’s a short walk from the beach and many restaurants and stores.

Everything ! Coming from EHL in Switzerland, I rarely do a comment regarding hotels ! But this hotel deserved it ! - only 3 stars.... However, this place offer everything you need ! People happy and always available ! beautiful garden which dig you into Italian charm and peaceful location ! all furnitures seem new and designed with the hotel spirit. Swimming pool with a 5 stars hotel view (roof top) where there is also a Sauna a small fitness! Breakfast is also remarkable ! This hotel is like an oasis (flowers everywhere) in the middle of the town and close to every touristic place. Thx again to Federica (director) for the experience we've been through into her Hotel ! I've rarely seen an hotel where I would give more than I paid ! Quality / price , Fantastic !
