We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Vesuvio! We stayed for 7 nights and it was brilliant. Bed was comfortable, lovely room and view. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A great breakfast. The location was amazing - a short walk to the train station which connects to lots of other great towns, and a close walk to lots of bars and restaurants. Good air conditioning as well. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Unfortunately I was only spending one night and a morning there but from what I experienced it was a vibrant and busy town with a great atmosphere. The staff in the Ristorante Nettuno Lungamore had excellent food and extremely friendly staff who were very attentive to my dog 🐕 😀

Some real Italian wibe, noisy scooters and busy streets. Not too big, easy to walk around. Unfortunately it was not easy to find a good place to eat at the beginning of the week - mainly some hotels and bars.

The city center is nice, there are good restaurants but...

The city center is nice, there are good restaurants but every of them takes fee for sitting at the table - from 2 to 4 euros even to drink one cocktail. Beaches are not very good in Rapallo, you need to go somewhere further for good sea. We went on the beaches after San-Margarita, it is better drive there or go by bus.

A nice size town.

A nice size town. Easy access from the train station into town. Excellent coastal walk around to Portifino. Best place to swim Santa Margherita Ligure. A short walk from Rapallo. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Rapallo was fine but just to say a few more words about the hotel: the staff was very gracious, they even let us use some plates one day to have a lovely picnic outside and hooked us up with ice and glasses and things to enjoy our summer feast outdoors. They were so wonderful! They have created so much beauty on their property for guests to enjoy! It was truly lovely. I felt like I was in paradise! Rapallo was just OK for me. It seemed touristy and the food in town was my least favorite of my trip. Like they didn't care much about the quality of food they are serving the tourists. I get it, but it was just not very thrilling. But that's the effects of tourism. I was also surprised to learn that the beaches cant be accessed by everyone, as in the US. However, it is a beautiful town, the shops, bakeries, culinary stores are nice and I enjoyed them.

Rapallo is a beautiful town.

Rapallo is a beautiful town. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops. We travelled by train down to the Cinque Terre and all journeys were easy to navigate. The boat trip from Rapallo to Portofino was a lovey way to spend a few hours.

The apartment really looked and felt like a complete home, but at the same time luxurious and clean like a hotel - a perfect mix. The living room sofa-double bed and the shutters enabled sleeping in both rooms, and both rooms had a door to the big balcony with morning sun. And Mirabela was so nice, super accommodating, and gave lots of useful information that made our stay there efficient and full of positive experiences.

I liked the staff . Very friendly and welcoming. The location. Perfect. Best hotel location in Rapallo I liked the half board service … sitting on the table enjoying the evening meal in full absolute leisure. Me pressure by staff that they need the table. For me that was the best part of my stay and an luxury that wants me come back and enjoy the dinner again at this beautiful location

The hotel has a terrace for all guests. Nice view. Located in the centre of Rapallo, everything is in walking distance, the beach, restaurants, Gelato all over - a must try when you visit Italy in general (not only the coast). Beautiful marina, very nice people, a lot of mopeds, Vespas,... traffic is very fast but no honking... A hotel in a little piece of paradise on earth
