NH Padova 4 stars

Hotel in Padova

Enjoy the comfort and modern design of NH Padova, offering free Wi-Fi, clean and spacious accommodation, and a location near the main railway station and trade fair. Quick stay where I had to just spend few hours and head off to the airport. However, met all the expectations I had and the staff were kind enough to check me in late at night and provide me a change of rooms due to an AC issue.

DC HOTEL INTERNATIONAL 3 stars

Hotel in Padova

DC HOTEL INTERNATIONAL is a 3-star hotel located in Padova, 5 km from Padova Fiere. The property offers a fitness centre, a bar and a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available for guests. Before going to Padua, I spent a lot of time looking for a suitable place to stay for 16 days. My search criteria were: price, quality of service, minimalist interior in light colours, access to the restaurant and airport transfer. I am so glad I chose this hotel. It's exceeded all my expectations. I think this is one of the best 3 * S hotels I've visited before. The main role in this belongs to the hotel staff: from front office managers to cleaning ladies - they are all high-level professionals, very kind, friendly and attentive. They did their best to make my life comfortable for 2 weeks. The room is light and bright, clean and fresh, with a comfortable queen bed (classic double room) and quite large. Overall, the hotel is well furnished, very comfortable and safe. The restaurant, bar and hall (lounge area) are bright, there are panoramic windows with a good view. The menu is pretty fixed, but on the last day, it was replaced with equally delicious dishes. I enjoyed the food and it was a great introduction to rich Italian cuisine. The restaurant staff is professional and attentive. They memorized all my preferences. In general, as a person who has stayed in this place for more than 2 weeks, I can confirm that the hotel provides a high level of service for a stay (even for a long period). P.S. Unfortunately, they do not provide airport transfer services as mentioned in the description, but I cannot lower the rating for that.

Hotel in Padova City Centre, Padova

Hotel Donatello is situated in Padova historic centre, in front of St. Anthony's Basilica, near the ancient Orto Botanico and Prato della Valle, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The location of Hotel Donatello could not be more perfect situated directly opposite St Antonio Cathedral in the centre of town. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. Good choice of food for a continental breakfast and freshly made coffee. The staff are all lovely and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Donatello and would happily return

FAQs about hotels in Padova

Academic and Artistic Greatness

An artistic gem, Padua (or Padova in Italian) seamlessly combines awe-inspiring heritage and a modern vibe. Counting Galileo among its former tutors, the University has the world’s oldest UNESCO World Heritage-listed botanical garden.

Across the road is huge Prato della Valle, a green square with a canal lined by 78 statues, and home to a Saturday market. A market is also held in squares near to Palazzo della Ragione whose multi-levelled arches and vaulted wooden ceiling are an impressive sight. Cobbled, porticoed streets lead to the finely-crafted Gran Loggia and clock tower.

Every church has incredible décor, but the most famous is Saint Anthony of Padua, boasting the bones of the saint, an impressive 7 cupolas and 4 cloisters. The square in front has a statue by Donatello. Padua Cathedral's simple exterior houses amazing frescoes inside the baptistery by Giotto, creator of the jewel in Padua’s crown – the Scrovegni Chapel. His 14th century frescoes there have been meticulously restored to be as vibrant as the day they were painted.

The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo, but before you head there from your Padua hotel, apartment or B&B take time to enjoy the narrow streets around Palazzo del Bò or the Jewish district.
