I liked the position a little bit far from the beach (you need a car) but it means a very quiet and pleasant construction. Cossimo is a marvelous host, the room was nice with a private terrace with a seaview which is very rare. The property is calm and you can park in it, which is very useful as its crowded outside. Located in Patù, 2.6 miles from Leuca, Casa Vacanze San Gregorio provides a garden and free WiFi. It is a complex of 2floors townhouses. Lot of space, plenty of kitchen utilities, washing machine. Quiet and secluded location. You need a car to explore the beautiful beaches. We had an apartment on the ground floor. Our kids tasted delicious plums right in front of the villa.

This was by far the best place we have stayed at during our 2 weeks in South Italy. The Masseria itself is located close to some smaller villages, and a short drive from Santa Maria de Leuca - you basically get best of both worlds: quiet countryside location, but still close to everything. The building has been tastefully renovated recently and enjoys a fantastic garden with pool, rooms are spacious and well equipped. But the best thing about Masseria Palane are the owners: really amazing people, super friendly and making sure that you’re getting the best out of your stay at any point in the day. From the homemade crostata at breakfast, over giving you advice on where to go and finding reservations for restaurants, to knowing just exactly when you look like you need an aperitivo! Roberta and Linda are just the most amazing hosts we have had.
