A nicely maintained older hotel with truly phenomenal views. We chose this location as a stopover on our way from Livorno, where we arrived by ferry. I highly recommend it, especially in the summer, as the higher altitude brings slightly cooler temperatures. The village is charming and offers pleasant walks. It also has a good restaurant and a small shop. The hotel features a lovely small pool as well. For us, it was a truly positive experience.

This hotel is truly remarkable, not just another place to stay, but one of a kind. I was absolutely enchanted by it because sometimes it's essential to escape the city and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature, to feel like a part of it. My children were absolutely thrilled with the hotel, as there were various activities tailored just for them! The customer service was outstanding, and the restaurants served delicious food - staff were incredibly kind and exceptionally attentive. The rooms were immaculate and tidy. The surrounding forest is vast, and while we sometimes had to drive to reach another restaurant, we could also explore the area by bike or on foot. We are a family from Armenia, and we will definitely be back! 🇦🇲🇮🇹

The entire team at the hotel was very polite and friendly. The welcome at the reception was warm and courteous. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. It’s not a brand-new hotel, but it’s very aesthetic, clean, and well-maintained. We chose this hotel during our trip to Florence because we rented a car and it had a pool. I didn’t expect it to be this good. The suite room they assigned to us was amazing — it had a beautiful, classic style that reminded us of earlier times. Breakfast was also very satisfying. If you have a car, I definitely recommend staying in this location to escape the noise of the city. Even though we planned to explore Florence, we preferred this area and soon realized it was a fantastic decision. A wonderful hotel — thank you to the entire team!

Fabulous place, complimented by thoughtful, attentive, and accommodating owners who really want people to enjoy their stay. Our room (with balcony view) was exceptional. The hotel setting is a picture-perfect church square with all the local charm you might expect. Some food/drink options immediately in the square too. Great place to chill in the evening. Extra bonus was the availability of parking by the hotel. Our room had a separate bathroom, so don't let the pictures or other reviews put you off of the toilet in the shower area - think they may be out of date. Or at least ask. Great location to base walks and see the Tuscan hills, with a larger town just 10 min drive away for range of eating/drinking options. There are buses that stop very near the Hotel, but can be a bit infrequent later on (hourly ?) and last one back is c21:00. We hope to be make it back again.
