Risano is a tiny country side village.

Risano is a tiny country side village. It has one hotel that didn't wasn't even hospitable. We could enter and no one picked up the phone. Other a couple of bar and a church, theres just a lot farm. It takes approx 3-4min to drive thru. I was standing outside looking for cigarettes and all I could smell was farm animal and got many mosquitoes bites.

You arrive as a hotel guest but when you leave it's like saying goodbye to dear friends. Annalisa and Roberto are the perfect hosts. They are kind, friendly and great fun. The food in the restaurant is delicious and their daughter is an excellent waitress. The after-dinner concert is so special. The room is quiet and comfortable. We hope to return for a third visit.

Beautiful, rustically kept structure. Outside the building and inside the room - wonderful beams, furnitures. Very friendly and helpful owners. Fantastic food in hotel’s restaurant. I chose typical Fruliana. Beef stripes as the second and Gubana for desert were superb. The breakfast reach enough, good coffee. Very clean room, and very quiet in the night.

On my travels, I have rarely seen such exceptionally clean and lovingly maintained accommodation. The staff are kind and helpful. The room is adequately equipped, and the mattresses are comfortable. The hotel was not noisy. Breakfast is not a typical hotel buffet, but they will prepare anything you wish. I recommend it to everyone, even for a longer stay.

The ancient hotel building is unique. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and a store of organic products from local producers. The rooms are clean with antique furniture. Very colorful and unusual. Breakfasts made from organic products are very tasty.
