- nice little village at the end of the valley - traditional, local food - feeling of being in the middle of the mountains - everything can be done by foot, no car necessary - perfect for any mountain sports
If you like quite place , small village and beuty of Italian Alps then is a perfect place for you and your friends. Regarding myself this place is so charming with just a few restaurants couple of shops and almost no people . There is everything you need to make your holiday amaizing .
Santa Caterina is s compact Italian ski resort, with some lovely hotels cafes and bars. Good choice of slopes, couple of good blsck/red runs but also a good choice of slopes for new skiers.central cafe 2 euro for a glass of wibe
nice village and nice buildings. but there is not beautiful gardens and childrens playgrounds, as well as wolking pathes - as they are in the Austria or Switzerland resorts. Also there are very old ski lifts.
A small, but very nice location, with quick access to skiing facilities, very well organized. There are nice pubs where to spend evenings/nights (by the way I would recommend Cet's Cabin) after a day on the skies. Moreover Bormio is 15 minutes away and it is a nice place to visit and a possible alternative destination for after skiing time. Overall it is a fantastic place.
Santa Caterina was always my favourite ski resort but since Sunny Valley has opened it is even better. The village falls a bit short on restaurant choice but if you delve into some of the hotel restaurants there are some nice places.
