I can not praise them enough. He has his own restaurant in the house and you have to try it! It is so good. Who i also want to mention here is the cleaninglady. I forgot her name, but she is so friendly and does a really good job. Also she is working as a waiter in the restaurant of the hotelowner and she is so kind and sweet. If you need a hotel from where you can explore the region, you should book Luna Rooms. Mile Gracie to everyone in the Hotel

Hotel Miramare, Mare Hotel, and NH Savona Darsena got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Savona.
Very good help at the reception even for our very late arrival. Great recommendations for restaurants to eat near the hotel. Got the bus to the center of town and walked around, although it was raining there is still plenty to visit and lots of little cafes. The hotel is a little dated but still comfortable.
I spent 5 days in this town with my wife. Savona town offers a good mixed experience of sea and town, with convenient train links to Genova, Milano, Turin and France. It is very easy to get around Savona. Avoid Idea Hotel Plus.
We didn't know that Savona was an industrial town. We should have booked Rapallo!! We are on a vacation drive around the Riviera's of Italy, France and Spain. Savona is pleasant enough but either south of Genoa or west of Savona are beautiful seaside iconic Italian charm and vistas. We booked without knowing the area. It was still a good 5 days but only as a base or you have another need to be in the city. The Castle was impressive, the Cistine Church looked great but is being renovated (closed). A few nice streets with restaurants and shops. Parking was easy. No one told us - if there is a white line - Free. Blue is pay - find the machine and display the ticket. Yellow marking - local with permit. If I were travelling for same reasons I would go to Rapallo
excellent mix of old and new. Dining opportunities all over the place with wide choices. The old city is a bridge away from the beautiful Costa Cruise Terminal. Curious geographical feature places moored cruise liners practically in the middle of it all. Well connected with the rest of the country via trains and roads. Normal, as-expected pricing. Shopping's excellent. Well worth setting aside a couple of nights to explore the city before moving on. LLLOOONNNGGGG beach within walking distance with facilities. Surprisingly quiet.
Great, quiet and beautiful town. Lots of super beaches, some fine shops, some great monuments to see, a lot of superb restaurants with fresh fish and frutti di mare (Bagniarci, Bagni Marinella at the beach and Alalunga at the port). Relatively easy access by train from Torino. At the beginning of September not many foreign tourists. But you must be ready for italian style of life. Very few persons speak English. Hours of opening restarurants are not reliable. (written that opened to 21.30, and at 19.30 they clean up before closing, nothing to eat, nothing to drink...) Only supermarkets (Greetings for a great Guliver staff!!!!) work as should be.
Usual Italian coast small town, old buildings, few parking places, high prices, the usual fancy marina with hotels and restaurants, the rest of the city stuck in time in the '70s. Beaches in the Italian system, with entrance through restaurant and high prices for everything. Unless you want to get depressed I suggest not to stay more than one day.
Savona
When I arrived Luciano helped me with my luggage and my bicycle, to bring everything upstairs. He is very clear in his communication. The breakfast was amazing! He asked the day before what I like for breakfast, so he can make everything for me. I really appreciate that, because really good food is for me an important thing 😇 Everything was clean and good organised. I felt a lot of privacy in and around the room. It was nice to talk with Luciano and he gives me a lot of advice about different city’s in Italy. Thank you Luciano! 🙌
Savona
Savona was absolutely worth the visit. The marina the people the restaurants everything about it we loved. We didn't have enough time to go further from the Marina and the city but we loved what we saw. Peter our Host was so kind and helpful the apartment was very comfortable and it had everything you would require. We will definitely go back if ever we are in that area. ...we had private parking WiFi. And plenty of little cafes to have breakfast in the morning just out side the front gate. Thank you Peter for everything ❤️
This hotel is amazing. I was hesitant because of some other reviews. I thought everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff is great , facilities wonderful . The view and balcony amazing. The bathtub was fantastic. The desk encouraged me to write in my journal with the sound of the ocean and view. The breakfast was excellent. The first night I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Everything was perfect. I loved this hotel so much and found it very hard to leave.
Savona
The view was fantastic, the bed super comfy, the check in process effortless, and Paolo was the nicest host we could have asked for. We also ate dinner at their restaurant--whether or not you do this, it's definitely worth stopping by for one of their fantastic deserts. If we ever come back through Savona, we will definitely stay here again!
Savona
Brilliant place. Very well located a few minutes from beaches and not more than 10 minutes walk from city centre. Two bedrooms and dining room all with separate air conditioners make a stay for whole family very comforatble. The host is very helpful and friendly, speaks English (which is very useful in Italy for foreigners)
