We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Scanno. The location is very convenient, with easy parking available nearby. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with the added comfort of a separate space and proper beds for the children, which made our stay even more relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the staff at reception were helpful. A perfect base for exploring Scanno – highly recommended, we’ll be back.

Nice position close to the center

The hotel is run by a lovely family, warm and excellent service, clean rooms, good breakfast, beautiful view of the lake from the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning! We had a room with a lake side view. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I love a wild swim and went swimming in the lake just opposite the hotel on a couple of occasions, just fantastic.

We arrived at 10pm due to flight delays and traffic accident en route from Rome. The hotel communication was good about our late arrival (via email as we have no Italian) and on asking for food on arrival, being hungry and tired after 13hrs travel they opened the kitchen and went beyond our request for some pasta with a lovely 3 course meal. After that we enjoyed a meal there each night. We enjoyed sitting on our room balcony with views over the historic centre of Scanno and exploring the surrounds. Thanks for a great stay.

il Rifugio del Lupo is a small friendly hotel. We had a large clean room. The breakfast was very generous. The restaurant had a good choice of dishes; it's a bit expensive but the local wine was delicious.

Staff is very friendly. We arrived quite late, but reception was still open(until 11pm). This was helpful - because was small problem with hot water. The valve was closed after some service works two days ago. The Hotel has some private parking places - so was nice to park close. Bed was quite big - we fit even together with our 8y.o. daughter. Bathroom clean with shampoo, soap, shower cap. Scanno is quite climatic.

I can only recommend this hotel.

The two ladies working there are really nice, they had me park in their parking spot and were super helpful with suggestions about what to do, very kind and smiley!

The rooms were huge, and the bed very comfortable. The furniture was in keeping with the age of the hotel and was beautiful. We ate there, and the food was tasty and plentiful

The beautiful madam Maria in charge of the hotel ( owner ?) made me feel at home. She seemed to be my second mother, great women, polite, gentle and very sympathetic!
