Beautiful, clean, comfortable and great location on the harbour watching the world go by. We had a room with a balcony and we could watch people and boats in and out of the harbour which was so relaxing. The reception staff were so genuine, welcoming and helpful. We did not have breakfast here as we like to look around and try local cafes. Parking was free and easy. We would highly recommend to stay here. Sciacca was so beautiful also.

This stay was part of a longer car tour of Sicily and was a last minute booking and although we stayed at higher starred and rates hotels, this hotel gave the warmest and kindest welcome and hospitality. Couldn’t have been nicer. Huge room, beautifully cleaned and lots of thoughtful little extras.

this hotel is the best thing we have experienced during our stay in Sicily. The view from the room was stunning, and beach was beyond beautiful, and the food - let me just say the half bord is a total must! I also cannot praise enough the kind people that run the place, as they were incredibly friendly and helpful. I hope I will be able to come back here again soon.

Sciacca is a beautiful seaside town, made famous for all the ceramic and tile shops in the town. There are many beautiful and historical buildings, churches to visit and the harbour overlooking the main piazza is breath-taking. The beach is nearby and excellent for families and young children, There are lots of cafes and restaurants around to grab an ice cream expresso and arancini. Its very calm and relaxing just walking around and you get a real sense of Sicilian way of life here in Sciacca.

Sciacca is a lovely fishing port town with a a large and beautiful main town square with great views of the town and Mediterranean Sea. There is also many lovely piazzas with cafes and restaurants. Restaurants are cafes are everywhere and very good. Not too many tourists which is what I liked. You get to experience how the locals live. in my view it is very under rated and has a lot to offer. Beautiful fashion shops and there is a charming walking path around the Mediterranean Sea. Not too far from Selinunte archaeological park, Scali Turchi in Realmonte and many historical seaside towns are nearby.

I was staying down by the port which was nice - cafes and quite busy at night but not noisy. It was quite a walk up to the main area where most of the restaurants and the shops were - especially in the heat. Parking wasn't an issue.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town...

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Superb location up on a hill overlooking agriculture area. Neat beaches close by with fabulous beach restaurants. Outside areas are big and nice. Sciacca city is a very nice village. An extra Star to the front desk woman at breakfast who was really nice and the perfect host! Also the cleaning lady was doing her best to help out with ants and general cleaning of the room.

This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at in Sicily. Beautifully and tastefully furnished, it boasts all amenities of a boutique guesthouse, with an elegant restaurant and very professional staff. It is centrally located and you have easy access to all the best clubs and restaurants of Sciacca. Free parking in the neighbourhood is also very easy to find.

Perfect beach hotel with everything you need. The beach is very clean, the hotel offers free chairs and towels. Breakfast was served in the room and was gorgeous with lots of local products. Emanuela, the manager, was very helpful person, offering us tons on information on the region. If you plan to stay in Sciacca definitely choose Tonnara!

The attention to detail: this boutique hotel is beautifully furnished and maintained. The room size is perfect and it is well-equipped. Bed is comfortable. Very well-located in Sciacca too with parking available and close to sea and town centre. The breakfast is amazing - with some Sicilian delights and homemade cakes.
