The hotel was lovely and staff very helpful. We had an amazing view overlooking the sea. We have allergies, and our food restrictions were not a problem (we notified the hotel in advance). I needed a gluten free breakfast and the selection was abundand. I had for example a freshly baked pistachio croissant which tasted amazing! A family member needed dairy free and egg free breakfast and the hotel asked for wishes beforehand. No problems with these allergies either. There were even some dairy free yoghurts for breakfast. What a great visit. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Maestranze Deluxe Rooms. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very spacious for our family of four. The location was unbeatable - right in the centre, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and other attractions. We were also recommended a free parking area just a short flight of stairs from the property, which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely as well.

This stay was part of a longer car tour of Sicily and was a last minute booking and although we stayed at higher starred and rates hotels, this hotel gave the warmest and kindest welcome and hospitality. Couldn’t have been nicer. Huge room, beautifully cleaned and lots of thoughtful little extras.

Sciacca is a lovely fishing port town with a a large and beautiful main town square with great views of the town and Mediterranean Sea. There is also many lovely piazzas with cafes and restaurants. Restaurants are cafes are everywhere and very good. Not too many tourists which is what I liked. You get to experience how the locals live. in my view it is very under rated and has a lot to offer. Beautiful fashion shops and there is a charming walking path around the Mediterranean Sea. Not too far from Selinunte archaeological park, Scali Turchi in Realmonte and many historical seaside towns are nearby.

I was staying down by the port which was nice - cafes and...

I was staying down by the port which was nice - cafes and quite busy at night but not noisy. It was quite a walk up to the main area where most of the restaurants and the shops were - especially in the heat. Parking wasn't an issue.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town...

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants. Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there. Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

Our host Giuseppe was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We booked the spa facilities, which were the highlight of our stay. The room was beautifully designed with great taste, and the breakfast was carefully prepared and delicious. The lady who served breakfast was very friendly and even shared some background about the house’s design, as well as local recommendations. It’s a pity we stayed only one night! I’ve been to Sicily three times, always traveling by car, and this has been my most satisfying stay so far.

A beautifully presented small hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a large shower. You can park for free on the street outside. The hotel has a private car park if you prefer. The staff were remarkable for their welcome and service, probably up there with our best experience ever. Breakfast is a buffet with plentiful choice. The Hotel is a flat walk to the main square and shops.

This is the loveliest place we have stayed in Italy- and by far the best value for money. Our apartment was gorgeous, spacious , private , well located and clean. We caused difficulties by arriving late after the check in period, but Olga was very hospitable and helpful, in arranging a self check in for us. Breakfast was extraordinary- varied, fresh , copious and delicious. I would choose to stay here over anywhere else I have stayed in Italy.
