Cinisi (0.6 miles from Falcone-Borsellino)
Villetta a mare is set in Cinisi and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. The air-conditioned accommodation is 43 km from Castellammare del Golfo. Our flight arrived late, but the host agreed to accept us after check-in time. The house is 10 minutes walking from the airport, which is very convenient for a tired traveler arriving late. We notified the host that we were on our way and he picked us up! We didn't expect that but really appreciate it. As a bonus, we had had various drinks and some snacks for free (actually it was more than you usually get for paid breakfast in France). Thank you!

I rated the evening meal as one of the best for our 3 month stay in Sicily. Made so much more fun and relaxing by the restaurant staff. The hotel is ideally placed for airport transfers. It was a good stop over.
A perfect place to stay if you have an early flight. Avoids going into Palermo. he town itself is one of the easiest for getting around in in all of Sicily. Well appointed with a few great restaurants. The museum should not be missed. Very nice sea views.
A quiet town that doesn't seem to have much to offer. We were only there for one night after arriving at Palermo Airport, and for our last night before leaving from there. In between, we spent almost a month traveling around Sicily. Even the main street of Cinisi lacks much that is interesting, and restaurants / cafes / bars are scarce.
Quaint old town on the sea not a major tourist area but nice restaurants and some shops. We spent one night for an early flight from Palermo. The restaurant adjacent to the Casa Manzalla was excellent Good food, excellent service .
Quiet nice little typical Italian city at the seaside with a nice beach not crowded but a number of bars and evening locations. If you love really typical Italian lifestyle and you are not looking for a heavily crowded and expensive tourist destination, Cinisi - by the way not far away from Palermo and other well known places - is worth a stay!
A very quaint town nestled on the coastline, if you like ice cream it’s the place to go! It’s served by a rustic train line with connections to the airport , Palermo and beyond. We had breakfast in the local cafe and evening meal in a restaurant around the corner. If you have no Italian it’s the time to start learning. Would like to go back and explore the country more it’s very like Scotland , warmer but exchange midges for mosquitoes!
