The room was clean and comfortable and all I hoped for. What's more important is how well the hosts treated me, staying up for a very late arrival and even driving me to the airport very early in the morning.

What a lovely place to stay with very kind and thoughtful hosts. The house is set with huge mountains behind it and the ocean very close too. Our room had a separate bathroom and a balcony. Plenty of space, very comfy bed, fridge in room ( no freezer section), lovely hot shower and a delicious spread for breakfast. Pippo even helped us from the airport late at night- who doesn’t love a helpful host! 😀 We 100% loved our stay at Grazia and Pippo’s bnb.

Our room was spacious and everything looked new. It also had access to a big terrace with amazing views. The hotel has a private parking and a shared kitchen that is equipped with all the necessary things. Neighborhood was calm and quiet. Vincenza, the host, was very friendly and her croissants for breakfast were delicious.

Falcone-Borsellino Airport (PMO) Information
Location and Transport
Located 22 miles (35 kilometres) northwest of central Palermo, Falcone-Borsellino Airport (also known as 'Palermo Airport') is the second-busiest in Sicily. It is connected by a public bus, which departs from the Terminal Stazione Centrale every 30 minutes. Taxis wait outside the arrivals area, and charge around EUR 35 to the city (when the meter is switched on), with a journey time of around 45 minutes. Car hire is also available.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are plenty of hotels within a mile (2 kilometres) of the airport, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. All offer a pick-up shuttle service. There’s a VIP lounge, a range of duty-free shops where you can find designer brands, and Italian eateries serving up Sicilian treats like arancini and cannoli. Other useful facilities include tourist information, banking, luggage wrapping and free WiFi.
Terminal Information
Falcone-Borsellino Airport has one terminal, split into four levels, and there's also a free shuttle bus.

The old town was sweet.
The old town was sweet. Just what you want for anything plus nice eateries. We were there very briefly to catch flights each time. The high walls, barbed wire, some guard dogs with a lot of nice properties were disconcerting. As two women traveling it made us nervous. We didn’t stay long enough to get a sense if that nervousness was warranted. Great accommodations though.

Terrasini, like the rest of Sicily is dirty, chaotic but also welcoming and charming. It's a different world down there, slow pace and everyone just does what they want with no consideration for others. I enjoyed my trip but I wouldn't rush to go back.

We were met by a very supportive and kind host. Beautifully restored building to the highest standard. The specious room and bathroom are comfortably big and extremely clean. Everything is new. One of the most comfortable mattress I slept on.

Montelepre is amazing.
Montelepre is amazing. Driving through the narrow streets has to be experienced. We have nothing like it here in the UK. There's nothing really to do in the town, but as a base, it's close to Palermo, and the ruins of Agrigento can be done in a day. It's also close to Palermo airport.

Nice place for people who are looking to stay close to the sea in a quiet place, perfect for families.
If you are looking for a vibrant place with lots of restaurants, shops and bars this won't be the place for you because there are only a few that don't work until very late, the supermarket closes at 20:30 for example, so it is inconvenient if you want to grab something small in the evening.
For a few days is great, the sea is clean and the beaches are good.

Torretta is a small town.
Torretta is a small town. It has a few restaurants and a petrol station. It’s more the location which interested us. It’s away from the hustle and bustle, but close to main roads and amenities.
Just outside of Torretta there are loads of budget supermarkets the likes of Lidle, Conrad and other local shops. A bit further on you will find a big shopping centre with a much larger supermarket.
Torretta is between the airport and Palermo.
With good road links to Erice, Trapani, Palermo and beyond.
If you are brave enough, take the car and drive more inland. Which is a adventure on its self, the roads are not always great but the views and landscape makes up for it.

Trappeto is a small city with old historical center.
Trappeto is a small city with old historical center. There are several restaurants, some ones with a sea view. East of city you found long beach. Beach bars offer drinks, ice creams, pizzas and salades produced in their kitchen - excellent. Trappeto itself doesn't support many schopping possibilities. It has train and bus connections to Palermo, but not so frequent. Comming with a rent car is better and give you easy way to visit Sagesta archeological park.

The location steps from Sunset Beach is very handy, since it's also a 13-minute drive to rentalcar return at Palermo airport. We had an early flight, so it was fun to spend our last afternoon at the beach. The restaurant was also fairly good and obviously quite popular with local families. The only shortcoming of our room was that it was a handicapped room with an open shower that basically flooded half the bathroom floor. That said, there was plenty of hot water and the supplied hair/body gel worked better than our own products in the extremely mineral-laden water. (Definitely buy some bottled drinking water.) The price was also great.

It is surprising, and the museum was shockingly all i hade been hoping for, too bad dancing is not allowed in the museum other wise I would have danced, I wanted see specifics about Sicily history, nature and culture, and I was saddened that I could not have enough in the 13 days I spent there then come this charming place with very little English translation yet it is amazing, I just used AI and found more than I was hoping for, the nature and views are beautiful, I did. Not have time to swim but those swimming looked liek they are having a wonderful time. The food is great so many restaurants and ice cream shops.
