Great place to stay close to the airport. This business is primarily a family run restaurant with rooms on the 1st floor. We dined at the restaurant and found the best dining experience in Sicily. The Spaghetti alle Vongole was wonderful. The receptionist was very helpful and pleased to assist with the checkin. Unfortunately we had an early flight and could only wonder what we missed out on for breakfast! The room was quite functional and clean and the bed satisfactory.

We stayed here one night after flying into Palermo. We envisaged it as a quick stopover before heading off to Trapani, but it turned out to be so much more than we expected. The accommodation was absolutely lovely - the design, and in particular the use of colour was exemplary and made us very happy to be in the space. When we learned Adriana is an architect, it made complete sense. There was also a great deal of care and love that went into making the spaces as welcoming and accommodating as possible, and this too made us happy. Breakfast was taken on the balcony, outside the top floor kitchen. It was prepared for us by Adriana and was a good start to our day. She is charming, warm and very welcoming. I’m writing this review three days later and there is still a warm glow when remembering the place. Because this is a review and because no place is perfect, I’ll mention that there was no loo roll in the quadruple room - something I’m sure is on the list of to-dos. And in case it’s relevant to anyone, I’ll also mention that the quadruple space, which is listed as a ‘room’ on Booking.com, is actually two entirely separate bedrooms, both lovely, which share a bathroom. There is also a small sitting area. Had we known this at the time of booking, we wouldn’t have booked a separate room for our daughter. Having said that, the room on the top floor has its own very delightful balcony, and is lovely. Also worth noting is that Adriana provides a shuttle service at a much lower price than taxis, and waited an hour and a half for our daughter who was held up by the new immigration protocol, with patience and grace.

Everything was newly renovated and beautifully styled. The bed was very comfortable, and I especially liked the spacious bathroom. The location is charming, with free parking right in front of the apartment. We had an early flight the next morning, and this was a perfect place for an overnight stay. Highly recommended!
