We had a wonderful stay at Baglio Catalano during our trip to Sicily. The place is beautiful, very calm and clean. It’s well located if you have a car, making it easy to explore the beaches and surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent every morning homemade, varied, and delicious. But the real highlight was the dinner. Every dish felt like a true homemade Sicilian experience, so good and tasty. Everything we tried was incredible, and we ate there every evening of our stay. The staff were all so warm and welcoming, and our daughter loved it there too. it felt very family-friendly and relaxed.

The breakfast was great. You may get typical continental breakfast but also great cakes home made, very fresh and delicious. Good coffee, you may get the tea and different type of juice. The place has recently been restored while maintaining some of the original details. The room had beautiful window joinery, furniture and equipment in a cozy atmosphere. All is new and you may feel that the room is very clean. I liked the smell of bed linen and the towels, you may be sure all is clean. For colder nights you may use woolen blankets. The hotel has nice surrounding, you may sit in the garden and enjoy the nature (the view on the mountain is beautiful). The personnel was vey kind and helpful. On the last day of our stay we had too leave very early, so we were offered to get some food in the evening before to take away for little breakfast, which was very helpful in the morning. The place is very quiet, so you may have a great rest. In many places you are woken up by the street noise from cars but not here, in Hotel Cala Buguto you may hear the sea, the wind and birds only, which is great. Very good location with close access to Zingaro nature reserve and also Palermo airport (45 min). Nice surprise to us was that the hotel is just 10 min walk from truistic attraction - the cave called Grotta Mangiapane. If you stay in this hotel it is really worth seeing it and to have a rest in the bar over there. The area is very safe. The parking is available for all guests for free and you do not have to make any reservation for that. The area is big enough to park there.

Family business, lovely hotel, authentic Sicilian, with restaurant and great home made food. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Its location was perfect for walking to historic center town. Great views from Erice mountain and beach from out bedroom door. Highly recommend this hotel and we will surely be back.

Nice classic hotel with an amazing view.

Everything was perfect, the service, atmosphere (very friendly). Rooms extremely clean, breakfast enough in italian style. Safe, private parking in back of hotel. We asked for a wine after arriving and got a bottle of really good one with some snacks and fresh fried almonds which was realy nice.

The location is brilliant. Just a short drive from the busy centre of San Vito lo Capo but surrounded by beautiful views and quiet countryside and amazing beaches

Lovely location, on the ocean with wonderful views. Resort was very well run with friendly helpful staff. A great breakfast and days by the pool made it a good choice for our two day stop over.

Beautiful view, the town of Erice and a gorgeous clean swimming pool in the hotel. Excellent service.

The views from pretty much every part of the hotel were absolutely spectacular. Being used to traveling off season I didn't mind the spa not being open or not having lunch options at the hotel. I was out during the day anyways. The staff was very friendly throughout. My favorites were the girls from the reception. Loredana and Laura. Absolute sweethearts. They made me feel very welcome and were happy to help with every request and always up for a little chat. I had a fantastic time at the hotel and would definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely everything. A wonderful family that welcomed you warmly. The food was excellent; lovely location; lovely locals; fantastic restaurant 1 minute walk away. This was by far the best place we stayed in Scicily on our 2 week stay on the island. The hosts were exceptional; helpful; informative and just lovely people If we could have, we never would have left. It's an absolute perfect stay, and you won't find better hosts anywhere! Definitely don't miss an opportunity to stay here.
