DenmarkLa Tavernetta completely blew us away, mostly because the vibes are just so good and the staff is incredibly sweet. They are always around, super attentive, and they genuinely make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in.
The whole property feels like a little hidden paradise. The garden is gorgeous and chilling by the pool was our favorite way to just unwind. Plus, our room was absolutely spotless.
And oh my god, the food! Breakfast was always such a treat, with so many delicious options to start the day. But the real highlight was having lunch at Bellevue. The food there is incredible, and eating with that breathtaking view was just unforgettable.
We are already planning to come back! 😘

GermanyThe property is setup in a large area on the outskirts of Scopello, and has everything you need that you probably dont need to go outside the property if you dont feel like it. Swimming pool, sunbathing chairs, restaurant, and nice big rooms.
The breakfast spread is huge, and it was my biggest breakfast of the trip. The staff was also kind enough to let us check out late as there was no one checking in to our room afterwards.
There is ample free parking available on the property

Scopello is a gorgeous, unspoilt village, with some excellent restaurants and shops. The people are really friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We ate in most of the local restaurants and could not fault any of them. The little jewellers near the centre (91014.shop) is wonderful. The owner is so helpful and kind and the jewellery is beautiful and doesn't cost the earth. He made up a bespoke pearl pendant for our daughters wedding at the Tonnara and it was super reasonable and admired by all. In the same street there is a small family eatery, with a charming garden, which does a variety of sharing platters - great if you want to eat like the locals.

Hotel Antica Casinca Del Golfo was the highlight of the trip. It was close to some restaurants with spectacular cliff and seaside views. There is also a pharmacy and market nearby. The ride to Palermo airport only took 45 minutes.

We didn't visit the beach.
We didn't visit the beach. We were resting up around our pool. We drove past it and it looked very pretty.
However.... We were midweek in May (Good weather) and there were cars everywhere. Car parks charge and for a small bay/cove even this time of year too many people.
I would guess peak season it would be ridiculously busy.

Small village close to the sea. Stunning scenery. A couple of supermarkets along the main road, which themselves have good restaurants.
The main square of Scopello is enclosed, so there are no cars. Plenty of good restaurants, and a very pleasant and sociable atmosphere. Car parking is €4, or there is some free parking at the far end of the village, but it's not very easy to get to. There really isn't anything to do in Scopello apart from eat.
The Tonnara (old tuna factory) on the coast, just a little way from the village, looked interesting. However, there is a very high entry charge (it's privately owned), and it can be closed for days at a time with no warning. In the end, we didn't go - there are plenty of photographs to look at ...

A nice place with several good beaches in the area, a Pane Cunzatu bakery, a bar with orange juce, and a few restaurants (we ate delicious pasta con vongole in the Nettuno). Unfortunately not accessible with public transport, so you need to book a shuttle from the airport. There is a bus connection between Alcamo and Palermo, but make sure to buy tickets in advance, and don't expect any taxis waiting for you in the Alcamo - better book one beforehand.

Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet stay. There are no shops to speak of just a handful of gifts shops and one supermarket with pharmacy. We ate in the Square, not sure of the name of the restaurant but it had a very communal feel which was really lovely, so relaxing. I would recomment hiring a car as it is quite a rural area and things a bit spread out, not by much but maybe a 5 to 10 minute drive to the supermarket etc

All arrangements with the owner, including picking up the keys etc was superb. Very clear explanations. The location of the house was amazing, beautifully positioned next to a stunning beach. A superb location for getting to other interesting places, mountains, sea, history, restaurants and the local village. The national park in particular was incredible. Food was the best and most consistent we have experienced on any holiday! We would definitely love to come back to this area of Sicily.

Gorgeous hotel. Everything you would expect and a brilliant location that’s 3 minutes from the main piazza. The team are welcoming and always attentive to answer any questions and also give genuine recommendations on how to spend your days. The pool was amazing and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I loved the variety each day to stop it from becoming same same! I would really recommend this hotel if you want to explore Scopello for the first time!

The hotel was very nice in all.
Very nice and well thought hotel in an amazing location very close to the Tonara di Scopello.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful - even the owner himself! All of them were there to make your holidays as pleasant as possible.
The breakfast was also very nice with local delicacies!
Bonus was the very nice pool and surroundings.

beautiful villa, amazing views, great location, peaceful and private
We walked every evening into scopello for dinner, its a 15-20 min and very easy ( bring a flash light for the last part of the walk)
There is a grocery store 4 min away by car to get essentials.
The area has beautiful beaches with the most crystal clear water for snorkelling
I look forward to going back one day

This property was nothing short of a slice of heaven. It was a perfect location, the host was lovely and if I come back to Sicily I am 100% coming back. It was my favourite part of the holiday and I cannot recommend it enough. The Mountain View and an ocean view it was the best of both worlds I loved it.
