La Tavernetta completely blew us away, mostly because the vibes are just so good and the staff is incredibly sweet. They are always around, super attentive, and they genuinely make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. The whole property feels like a little hidden paradise. The garden is gorgeous and chilling by the pool was our favorite way to just unwind. Plus, our room was absolutely spotless. And oh my god, the food! Breakfast was always such a treat, with so many delicious options to start the day. But the real highlight was having lunch at Bellevue. The food there is incredible, and eating with that breathtaking view was just unforgettable. We are already planning to come back! 😘

The location couldn't get any closer to the town. We drove to the beach but that is only because we had a car and went a little further around the coastline. We loved the location - right inside the old walls, and beside the village square where we had endless coffee just watching village life, and tasting gelati. The people were mostly Italians. We got our bread from the very local bakery. Excellent food was available in a great selection of restaurants. We did a lot of walking to various small coves that were perfect for swimming. Our warm and friendly hosts were beside available to help if needed.

Scopello is a gorgeous, unspoilt village, with some excellent restaurants and shops. The people are really friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We ate in most of the local restaurants and could not fault any of them. The little jewellers near the centre (91014.shop) is wonderful. The owner is so helpful and kind and the jewellery is beautiful and doesn't cost the earth. He made up a bespoke pearl pendant for our daughters wedding at the Tonnara and it was super reasonable and admired by all. In the same street there is a small family eatery, with a charming garden, which does a variety of sharing platters - great if you want to eat like the locals.

Hotel Antica Casinca Del Golfo was the highlight of the trip. It was close to some restaurants with spectacular cliff and seaside views. There is also a pharmacy and market nearby. The ride to Palermo airport only took 45 minutes.

We didn't visit the beach.

We didn't visit the beach. We were resting up around our pool. We drove past it and it looked very pretty. However.... We were midweek in May (Good weather) and there were cars everywhere. Car parks charge and for a small bay/cove even this time of year too many people. I would guess peak season it would be ridiculously busy.

Small village close to the sea. Stunning scenery. A couple of supermarkets along the main road, which themselves have good restaurants. The main square of Scopello is enclosed, so there are no cars. Plenty of good restaurants, and a very pleasant and sociable atmosphere. Car parking is €4, or there is some free parking at the far end of the village, but it's not very easy to get to. There really isn't anything to do in Scopello apart from eat. The Tonnara (old tuna factory) on the coast, just a little way from the village, looked interesting. However, there is a very high entry charge (it's privately owned), and it can be closed for days at a time with no warning. In the end, we didn't go - there are plenty of photographs to look at ...

A nice place with several good beaches in the area, a Pane Cunzatu bakery, a bar with orange juce, and a few restaurants (we ate delicious pasta con vongole in the Nettuno). Unfortunately not accessible with public transport, so you need to book a shuttle from the airport. There is a bus connection between Alcamo and Palermo, but make sure to buy tickets in advance, and don't expect any taxis waiting for you in the Alcamo - better book one beforehand.

Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet...

Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet stay. There are no shops to speak of just a handful of gifts shops and one supermarket with pharmacy. We ate in the Square, not sure of the name of the restaurant but it had a very communal feel which was really lovely, so relaxing. I would recomment hiring a car as it is quite a rural area and things a bit spread out, not by much but maybe a 5 to 10 minute drive to the supermarket etc

beautiful villa, amazing views, great location, peaceful and private We walked every evening into scopello for dinner, its a 15-20 min and very easy ( bring a flash light for the last part of the walk) There is a grocery store 4 min away by car to get essentials. The area has beautiful beaches with the most crystal clear water for snorkelling I look forward to going back one day

Our stay was perfect, all the staff are kind and provided gluten free option for me. Our room was comfortable and clean, we enjoyed the pool every day after the beach, and the restaurant is a great option. The location is great, just a few steps from the lovely center of Scopello and it is also possible to walk to Tonnara di Scopello, and other beaches. Would definitely go back.

This is a top-notch b&b that constantly exceeds expectations. Their facilities are continuously renovated and furnished with stylish local flavour. Lucio's hosting is the best I ever experienced in Sicily and elsewhere. The view is breathtaking. The breakfast is abundant, tasty and healthy. I come every year and every time there are more reasons to go back.
