Housed in a 13th-century tower with garden and wine cellar, Locanda Al Moro is right in Sciacca’s center and 10 minutes’ walk from the harbor. It offers air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi... Breakfast presentation was impressive. Location in old town fun and interesting. Do not try to park within three blocks unless you are travelling eithout a car, but enjoy the walkable neighborhood. Plenty of parking options near by. Claudia was an absolute pleasure, and gave us good advice for enjoying the area.

I visited Sciacca because my grandparent were from there. It is a nice town, not touristy although there were tourists there. The views of the sea were beautiful.. La Lampara is an excellent restaurant. Also, our trip to Basilica SAN Calogero was an unexpected treat. High on the mountain is the very beautiful church. Also, a museum where we got an interesting tour where we had a conversation in Italian that was fun since we don?t speak Italian. The Sciacxa spas were once in this area.
Seems to have everything - antiquities, charm, beaches, good restaurants, wonderful ceramics, and (at least in May) not overwhelmed with tourists. Just a good place to walk around and explore by foot,
An old town with loads of ancient landmarks. Lovely people and ambient. I would like to stay longer to explore more about the history and seafood. Highly recommend the family running restaurant - Conte Luna Pizzeria. Loads of favour for the pizzas, and very fresh and tasty!!!!
Sciacca is a nice town in south of Sicily. The town was full of live, people in the streets, not to much turists. It's a good location to do things around ( Torre Salsa, Scala de Turchi, Erecla Minoa, Farvara,.... ) There are lots of nice restaurants and bars. To move with the car in the center is quite tricky, we used the public parking in an around Piazza Marina Rossi, to know our rental car to be safe, (0,7 €/h -from 21.00 - 8.00 its free) because you could easily get stuck in the narrow streets of Sciacca.
Our weekend trip was reconaissence for a two week stay nearby this coming summer...very impressed with the town, especially the port and places ( Ribera,Seccagrande etc.) within a few miles. Also impressed with the three restaurants that we went to: Porto San Paulo Hostaria Del Vicolo Pane e Vino
Sciacca is a fishing port. It is not tourist cute. There are some nice beaches north side of the port where the area is less commercial. A number of great seafood restaurants in the port, from elegant to bistro. Recommend San Marco Beach, Maragani Beach or Bertolino Beach, all have chair/umbrella rentals. About 2 km's before the San Marco Beach there is a small vegetable place, stop for coffee and some of their delicious homemade foods. Nice selection of ready cooked homemade goodies. Had a nice lunch there. Was unexpected.

Apartment in residential area in Sciacca. The closest beach is 5min away with the car and the city center 10min away. The apartment is completely renovated and really comfortable. There is a big yard and the possibility to grill and wash away the send before entering home. Private parking is covered which assures a lot of shadow for the car. The area is extremely quite. The owner was always available and helpful, he let us stay longer during the checkout day.

Nice modern hotel in the old port area within walking distance of the fabulous restaurant (with roof terrace) right at the port. We were on bikes, so the location was great both getting in and out of the city (at the bottom). Seeing the city and enjoying the Plaza took a bit of stair climbing; but that's OK.

Everything like new. Obviously a very recent renovation. Great ac. Beautifully appointed. Mario and Irene are warm and excellent hosts. Narrow steep streets to negotiate if you are driving. Breakfast one of the best we had. Fresh figs from their garden!

The accommodation was superb. The hosts were so nice friendly and welcoming. They allowed us early check in and brought us a lovely tray with Champagne and cookie to our room. The large balcony was beautiful and you could see the mountains and the ocean. The room was exceptionally clean as was the reception and breakfast area. It was a perfect place a few minutes out of the city center. The casa has a beautiful garden area and steps up to the accommodation. The parking right in front is secure. The breakfast was jam packed. Italian meats and cheeses, yoghurt, juices, breads, fresh fruits and pastries. Cafe anyway you want. This place was a great value and a very wonderful stay. We would definitely return.
