Set in a 17-th century building, Vittorio Emanuele Boutique Hotel is located on the main promenade of Sciacca. All rooms offer a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and a satellite LCD TV. Small B&B located in downtown Sciacca, so it was an easy walk to see the town and close to restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the port. There is no parking on the premises but a loading zone to unpack your luggage and then plenty of parking in a nearby lot. The rooms and bathrooms were large and very well appointed and our rooms both had a balcony which is a bonus when the weather is good.

Sciacca is a “real” Sicilian fishing town. The main Piazza overlooks the sea and people gather there in the evenings. There are good restaurants/bars. We walked everywhere and didn’t feel unsafe, though we did stick to the main areas at night. We also got on the local bus out to the beach. There is a tourist bus (hoho) that takes you around and up to the very top of the mountain to the church and hot springs (it is a spa town) there are fantastic views from up there.
This is a town on a very steep hill!! Very nice in areas but suffers from littering. Not easy to find a restaurant/trattoria open on a Monday evening!! EOS is a lovely bar, give Art Deco a wide berth for food and service. Malware Hotel lovely, but not best situated.
Sciacca is great, a real gem in a great location! We happened upon Sciacca by chance, but will be back on purpose! It is a lively seaside town, with a pretty historic center and vibrant restaurant culture. The beaches are clean and the surroundings are picturesque. A great place to use as a base to visit sites like the Valley of the Temples.
Sciacca is ideal for an overnight stay if travelling between other locations (we used it as a stop over between Agrigento and Palermo. We stayed at the end of May and to be quite honest it was like a ghost town in the evening. It lacked atmosphere and we were the only ones in the restaurant we ate at. Staff at the hotel told us the tourist industry was having a ‘bad season’ and that was evident. Sciacca is a charming little seaside town and I am sure in summer it is busier. Compared with other places we visited it was relatively clean and tidy (Palermo we found to be terrible littered and dirty - dog muck everywhere, even in the touristy places in the centre)
Found a great self-cont BnB at 'A Casa di TonySicilan holidays' but Sciacca is awful, beaches spoiled by rubbish as everywhere in Sicily. Only there for the Temples anyway. You'll need a half-day for the Temples. After entry buy a ticket (E6 p/p) near the gate for the little cart/train to take you up to the Eastern Acropolis (they return to pick you up very 15mins or so) so you can ride to it after you've walked around the three Temples nearer the entry. Stunning site but huge. The town Sciacca is a mess. Roads closed, not on sat-nav. Keep out.
Interesting town, shame the Thermal Pools have closed. Busy fishing harbour, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Easy access to other places along the West coast such as Selinunte and Agrigento.

This apartment is an oasis in the city. Close enough to walk to the historic center and the port, but very quiet in a garden-like setting. The owner is very nice, and communication is prompt. The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated and very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and would like to return.
Breakfast was great, rooms were big and clean with comfy beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was a little out of the way but made for a quiet and relaxing stay. We ended up eating at a great little pizzaria nearby both nights during our stay rather than driving into town.

Beautiful and comfortable b&b in the old town of Sciacca. Santina is a wonderful host and gave us lots of great advice about what to see and do and booked a tour for us. Breakfast was delicious, bed was extremely comfortable. If you have a car, parking is tricky but Santina will help you.

The service was excellent. The staff responded promptly to all our needs and requests. It was easy to find and the surrounding countyside was attractive. On a cold wet day, there was a good heater in the room. The hacienda feel of the house and garden was of interest.
