Staff were so friendly and very helpful. Parking very close by at €8 a day and only a few minutes walk into the square with all restaurants and shops. It’s a basic hotel but clean and convenient and fantastic air conditioning in room. The lovely staff on reception are a credit to this hotel and make it a memorable stay.

We were lucky to choose the hotel where we spent a lovely weekend together. Although the season has only started, it was very hospitable and very cosy in a hotel, for which we are grateful to its polite team. Planning to be back soon.

Very nice hosts and location of the hotel. The view from the hotel is awesome. 5 / 8 min walk to the centre. Private parking at the hotel. Nice garden where you can have breakfast or drink a glas of wine with a perfect view. We will go back to this hotel next time.

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area within walking distance of the beach. Rooms and bathrooms were well maintained, think they may have been recently refurbished (loved the tiles) and were spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was great. Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was a bonus.

Hotel la Playa was located right on the beach and situated right on the main road where all the restaurants and shops were. The hotel pool is incredible, clean, large and deep (with a shallow end as well). The beach is gorgeous and there is a hotel lifeguard on the beach to keep the clientele and their things safe. Hotel accommodations included beach beds and umbrellas which was a huge relief. The included breakfast was very good with many options and the cappuccino was delicious. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. We strongly recommend Hotel la Playa for your stay in Sperlonga and will return without a doubt!

It was an amazing stay.

It was an amazing stay. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The beach was right across the street or you can take a shuttle to their resort beach which includes 1 umbrella with 2 chairs per room. The staff was helpful with suggestions and accommodated our every need. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops which are all walkable from the villa. In the evening you can stroll along the streets enjoying gelato and the views. The teens played pickup basketball with some of the locals. The restaurants on the resort beach was so delicious. Make sure you make a reservation especially for Saturday or Sunday. The staff will help you.By the piazza their is a porcetta sandwich shop yummy.

Lovely spot. Very Italian and not too many foreign tourists.

Lovely spot. Very Italian and not too many foreign tourists. Very good restaurants. Fabulous coast, beaches, grotto etc. Wonderful sea swimming and possibility of sea kayaking, paddle boarding and boating.

Sperlonga is a beautiful town.

Sperlonga is a beautiful town. The only thing really the town suffered from was lack of large food store. There were some small stored but no parking so if you are located away from them, you had a very challenging walk back to apartment.

Beautiful town with some lovely views.

Beautiful town with some lovely views. Marina just 2mins walk away from hotel where you can enjoy boat trips to various locations,( Blue Grotto is a must ) Variety of great restaurants to suit all budgets and great value for the most part and to enjoy really good coffee and people watch.

A lovely little village where most of the tourists are...

A lovely little village where most of the tourists are Italian, so you don't have to hear your native language from every other person you come across and the experience is not a "tourist trap". After the hustle and bustle of Rome, it was wonderful to come here and get a peace and quiet and swim in the sea. Lots of restaurants, it's worth making a table reservation for the weekend A week's trip might be too long unless you just like to lie on the beach

Sperlonga had beautiful beaches and ample options to rent beach chairs for the day. The town had many different options for lunch and dinner and a really full and comprehensive market. The train station is 20 minutes from the town and there are no shuttles that go into town, so make sure you have your transportation figured out as that was a challenge for us. Sperlonga is extremely walkable and has a beautiful section of the town on top of the hill. You have to climb about 200 steps to get up there but it is breathtaking once you reach the top. It is easy to see why Italians choose to vacation in this spot!

The rooms were modern & clean, with towels & bedding changed daily. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful, they were happy to organise a free transfer to Bazzano Beach each day for us. Otherwise, its a 1min walk to the local beach which is also lovely. Beach towels were provided by the hotel which was handy. The breakfast was lovely, continental style with fresh coffee available too. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Sperlonga.

Only 2 hours drive from Rome Fiumicino to the idyllic village of Sperlonga where you will find Domus Thalia. Located in a safe and quiet street near the beach, the house itself is high quality and set in immaculate grounds, very comfortable inside with everything we needed. Antonio the host was always on hand, easy to contact before and during the trip and went out of his way to be helpful. Couldnt recommend Domus Thalia more highly, thank you!

The location is perfect, a short walk from central Sperlonga and an even shorter walk to a quiet section of public beach. The room was comfy with a coffee machine and milk frother for DIY morning cappuccinos. Bathroom was clean and there was a lovely little patio table and chairs with plants. Cute place and I liked the staff too.

Less than a 5 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach and a lovely town, Sperlonga. Very helpful hosts, very kindly allowed me to check in early and late. Had a few issues with a power cut and subsequently getting the oven back on but hosts were helpful and communicated quickly to get the issues resolved.
