We stayed for one week in the hotel, everything is perfect. Room is spacious and clean, adequately heated. Balcony is big. There is a small lake just next to hotel, ideal for a morning walk after breakfast. There is also a big playground next to hotel, perfect places for my kids to "release" the energy. Breakfast is decent with essential choices. The pancake machine is kids' favorite. Hotel is located conveniently close to Varese, lake Como and etc. One can plan day trips to surrounding area easily. There is a restaurant just cross the street from hotel, as hotel guests you can get a small discount there. Food are good there, with pizza, spaghetti, Pallela etc. On new year eve, hotel/restaurant also has a fantastic fireworks show, our balcony has the best viewing position.

We had an amazing time at Stay Hotel. The hotel was renovated recently and it looks great. There is free parking for guests. Breakfast is plentiful with all sort of options. There is a coffee machine that is available 24/7 as well as a fridge with drinks and a selection of chocolates and snacks, which works with an Honesty System where you must write down whatever you take. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, with a very comfortable king size bed and a huge TV screen. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. In terms of location, it is located about 30 minutes from Malpensa airport and 10 minutes from Varese. There is not much to do on foot, but lots of options nearby if you have a car, like the Sacro Monte di Varese, Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Milan. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we would like to congratulate the owners for doing such an amazing job.

Having just endured a few hours of hell at the airport & the rudest taxi driver ever, it was so nice to have the most wonderful/polite/helpful receptionist. Having booked breakfast I realised I would have checked out before breakfast is served. The receptionist arranged a 'packed meal' . Needed a taxi for 0400hrs, the receptionist organised and was considerable cheaper than the one I had taken to get there during the day!!! couldn't have asked for nicer staff, very pleasant surroundings

The village itself is rather unappealing, except for the large nearby park with its centuries-old trees and the lake just a few meters from the hotel. There aren't many decent restaurants to choose from, except for the one next to the hotel.

Ternate isn't very touristy, but it's quite well located for...

Ternate isn't very touristy, but it's quite well located for excursions to the lakes and Milan. Unfortunately, there are only a few restaurants in the town itself. It's an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours.

A quiet town located on a cycle/pedestrian path that runs along the entire lake, very pleasant to walk along. There's a wide variety of lakeside vegetation, though unfortunately we weren't able to see the water lilies in bloom in January.

It’s a quiet hotel by the lake, although no coast is directly available. There’s a nice park almost next to it, might have some bathing options. It’s by a main road, you can get to the highway in 5 minutes and then to Milan. Breakfast was good, lots of options and some variation each day. Room was big, with a small kitchenette (no pots or cutlery though) and a table. Partner restaurant next door was very good, and a saver since options in the area are few on holidays or weekends.

The rooms are big and clean. There is even a small kitchen area, but with no cooking equipment. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices. In front of the hotel there is big free parking space. The staff was lovely.
