An amazing location – this is our third time in the region and our first time at this hotel, and I can honestly say it is by far the best choice. The room, the garden, the location, the hotel lobby, and the view are all superb. Breakfast was very good. The staff were outstanding. There is a huge parking area. I find it an ideal place both for a romantic getaway and for hosting a business event. We will definitely return in May, we liked it that much. Everything is within easy reach: 30 minutes to Laveno, 17 minutes to Sacro Monte di Varese, 50 minutes to Lugano, 50 minutes to Stresa, 45 minutes to Cernobbio. Both the city of Varese and the entire lake area are within easy reach.

I find it an ideal place both for a romantic getaway and for hosting a business event. We will definitely return in May, we liked it that much. Everything is within easy reach: 30 minutes to Laveno, 17 minutes to Sacro Monte di Varese, 50 minutes to Lugano, 50 minutes to Stresa, 45 minutes to Cernobbio. The village itself is rather unappealing, except for the large nearby park with its centuries-old trees and the lake just a few meters from the hotel. There aren't many decent restaurants to choose from, except for the one next to the hotel.

Ternate isn't very touristy, but it's quite well located for...

Ternate isn't very touristy, but it's quite well located for excursions to the lakes and Milan. Unfortunately, there are only a few restaurants in the town itself. It's an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours.

A quiet town located on a cycle/pedestrian path that runs along the entire lake, very pleasant to walk along. There's a wide variety of lakeside vegetation, though unfortunately we weren't able to see the water lilies in bloom in January.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotel within 30mins of Malpensa. Easy parking. Good breakfast choice. There is also a good value pizza restaurant only a few mins walk away next to roundabout.
