We were in Tropea at the start of October, the communication with the hotel was fast and excellent, so were the services and also I have to give special appreciation to Domenico (hope I spelled it right) who was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout the stay.

The location is a short walk to the beach and is close to the town but there are a lot of stairs. Breakfast was very good too. The pool is a good size and there are plenty of lounge chairs.

Tropea is fantastic.

Tropea is fantastic. This was our second trip to Tropea, this time combined with a 1 week stay in Capo Vaticano. Authentic italian atmoshere combined with a beautiful beach and unique sunsets. That's rare! Been there in October with 24 degrees and 24 degrees in the ocean. And this time in May/June - wheather and ocean was fantastic. Will come back again and next time rent a car for more flexibiliy.

This charming little town in southern Italy has some exceptionally beautiful beaches. The people are very hospitable, and there is a wide selection of small hotels and apartments. The restaurants and other services are excellent. June and September are perhaps the best times to visit.

If anybody is thinking of visiting Tropea please get it booked as it’s one of the most outstanding places we’ve ever visited, the people are so friendly and helpful in every way, not only is Tropea absolutely breathtaking but the Food and wine is another level, one of our favourite places we’ve ever visited

Every beach in Tropea has cave systems where you can swim to. Gommone/RIB boat ride will be fun but you can swim with tropical fishes to get there. Since the water is salt water you can float easier than in the lakes. Make sure to bring goggles :) Absolutely beautiful water...almost as clear and emerald as lake superior but with easier beach access than lake superior...much warmer and this Mediterranean sea has fishes to swim with... Foods and drinks are great everywhere in Tropea. N'duja spread is versatile and yummy. N'duja in the jar makes great souvenir. Every thing is open until very late night some until 2am and very safe to walk around with the family at night.

Beautiful Town with great restaurants and good atmosphere, quite upmarket. Plenty of parking, some free some metered, below the town then steps up from the beach. No shuttle transport up the hill from coast level to Town level so be ready for 200 stairs. Good beaches with bars and restaurants.

Tropea is a very beautiful old town, with a stunning historic center. Huge selection of restorants and small shops. Prices are affordable. In the aerea around Tropea, there are plenty of beautiful sandy beaches. Acces to them can be tricky during peak season, and finding parking is often the main issue. We were there at the end of May , and it was still quite manegeble. I recommend trips to Stromboli, Pizzo (Pedigrotta church), Le grotte di Zungri, Capo Vaticano, Scilla...

Villa Adua is a small boutique hotel which catered to our needs perfectly. The location is just 3 or 4 minutes to the old town and to the steps that take you down to the beach. The room size was perfect for a family of four. We even had sea view room which I'm pretty sure I didnt pay for 😁 Breakfast was superb especially the crostata's! We had to check out at 4am to catch our very early morning flight back home, the owner was very helpful and arranged the taxi for us.

Little boutique hotel in the centre of Tropea. We immediately felt comfortable upon arrival meeting Rosella at reception, what a beautiful person with such good energy! 10/10 for staff! We also met Paolo who is part of the family who own Tropea town house and again, beautiful hospitality! The room was modern, clean and fresh! The balcony upstairs was so perfect - and love the tanning beds too!

Great location. Easy access to beach and centre of Tropea. The apartment itself was very functional and very well maintained. The host was very obliging. I loved little touches such as endless supply of coffee capsules. Having stayed other accomodation in Italy where 3 coffee capsules were supplied for the 3 of us, this was a joy. Great to not have to go out and buy olive oil, salt, pepper etc

Great location within walking distance of Tropea. Excellent value for money with a fantastic breakfast. The room was clean and tidy with a lovely decor. The staff went above and beyond to help us with transport after a train strike in Italy affected our previous plan and were extremely responsive.
