This B&B in the middle of the mountains is definetly to recommend. We had an amazing view over the mountains,a cosy bedroom and the best: the breakfast which was prepared with love by our host Maria. This lovely and kind person made our stay perfect.

The host Patrizia is very friendly and arrived with a delicious cake soon after I arrived. The apartment was in the perfect location for my hiking holiday and I was able to easily visit the surrounding hills and the coast. It also has a little terrace which has an amazing view of the surrounding mountains especially to watch the sky at sunset or sunrise.

Away from the crowded cities and tourists, high up in the pure mountain air, and in a quaint little town. A perfect getaway to recharge. Olga communicates well and quite promptly. The apartment is huge! Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a washing machine, and a well-appointed kitchen. We liked sitting on the balcony eating meals and drinking wine, including a gift of their own homemade red wine which paired well with the chicken cacciatore that I made one evening. Olga also treated us to a tray of assorted Sardinian baked goods, all delicious and not too sweet. Don't expect nightlife here with disco music! But there are taverns, places to buy local produce, and any food and beverages you'll need. And the locals are very helpful, especially with our limited ability to speak Italian. Everything is super clean, the beds are comfortable, and an extra comforter for the cooler October nights. There are mountains all around, and especially beautiful when there are clouds across the top. Spectacular when it's sunny!

The place is off the turist path, but it is well positioned for hiking trails (Gorropu, Pedra lunga, Goloritze). As such It offers a unique experience of an Italian village (non turistic) I'm, where the local bar/pizzeria is the place where people meet, talk, come and go 5 times before you finish the pizza. Carlo, the owner, was very friendly and treated us with a home made pie (thanks to his mom). All in all a very nice experience.

The hotel enjoys a beautiful location on a hill, close to town. It's a great place to relax, except on Saturday ( probably there will be parties going on), but that didn't bother us.

Hotel Orlando is set at the foot of Gennargentu National Park, in one of Sardinia's most unspoilt areas.

We loved how quiet it was. We could literally open the windows in the middle of the day and we wouldn't even hear the wind. Excellent! The food was great, breakfast was yummy, the pool was nice and the room was clean and cozy.
