Valgrisenche is a small mountain village, and the hotel is...

Valgrisenche is a small mountain village, and the hotel is really in the next village (a bit higher, up the road) called Bonne. It’s really an outdoorsy spot, lots of hikers and bikers (yes, people bike up mountains!). It’s a 45 minute drive to Aosta, which has all the city stuff (shops, culture), and a cool excursion you can make from Valgrisenche is the Skyway Monte Bianco (about 55 minute drive from hotel Perret). We did several hikes (to Lago San Grato and to the Italian- French border). These are not easy. It’s relaxing to be at the hotel and sit on the balcony and read, and at night there is a comfortable common room for guests to relax.
