A nice rustic Italian ski resort.
A nice rustic Italian ski resort. It is great to be able to ski from Valtournenche to Zermatt and Cervinia. The only negative point is that it is not a pedestrian resort; in my opinion, a car is essential.

Cosy Italian village with shops /ski rental / hotels and a few bars . Cheaper alternative to Cervinia or Zermatt. Ski lifts connect to the Cervinia ski area but it does take over an hour to get there on long slow lifts .

I loved Valtournenche!
I loved Valtournenche!
This is a small to medium village in the mountains.
Lovely atmosphere when walking through the village.
Tourist Information Centre for the village and surrounding area available.
Plenty of restaurants /cafes to choose from and even a cheese factory!
I hate large crowds so Valtournenche was perfect size for me : )

Beautiful mountain village with little specialty shops and wonderful food. Valtournenche is only 15minutea away from the famous and very busy Cervinia. Better to stay here than in Cervinia. More authentic mountain village.

The hotel is very nice, cozy and confortable. It has rooms with tables to stay outside the room with friends. It has ski room which keeps your skis and boots warm.
The staff is very polite and helpful. There is one Romanian lady at the restaurant which is very attentive to details and serves you very well. The hotel offers free parking in the large parking lot just in front. They also offer free transportation at any time to and from the nearest ski lift with their personal van.

The BnB is a really nice place, in an excellent location just outside Valtournenche (3 minutes by car) where the owners will take great care of you! The personal space is clean and corresponds exactly to the offer.
Very good advice regarding hiking tours and activities from the owners made our stay even nicer and easier to organise on a day-to-day basis.

The hotel and staff where really nice, including the food. The location is about 4 min drive to Valtournach and 10 mins to Cervinia. The hotel has a car parking close by that makes it easy to load/unload luggage.
