We visited in winter, the room was well heated, the owner of the place was charming and friendly, the price is very reasonable and the service is excellent. The location is also very convenient - minutes away from the center of Varallo but far enough from the center that there is plenty of parking.

The property is unique. A villa converted into hotel rooms. I believe it was recently converted as everything was very shiny and new. The location is spectacular. It is in the middle of the city however you do have to hike up to it. The parking was very convenient and safe and we did get help with our luggage walking up from the parking area to the property. The rooftop pool was a huge bonus. Very peaceful and the view!!! Communication with Alessio was really very good. He helped with booking a restaurant, carried bags up, gave good check-in and arrival information. We felt like we knew him before we even arrived. Depiste the warm weather we were able to sleep very well with the windows open as there was always a lovely cross-breeze. No need for air-conditioning. The bed was very comfortable and all the linens very good quality. We shall most definately return

Arrived after 10 pm.

Arrived after 10 pm. The hotel was deserted and we used a code to enter. The hotel is located outside the city, in a short driving distance. We couldn’t find any place open at that time. Only on the next morning we realized that we should have driven a little further, behind the city wall, into the city. The bed could be improved

Varallo is classy, quite old. We enjoyed walking up to Sacro Monte and exploring the valley by car. You can’t park outside the B&B but there’s a free carpark nearby. The room we stayed in was OK for a couple of nights.

We were only there for 1 night. Very friendly host with great home made food. Location is on the outskirts of varallo but only 1/2 hour walk from the sacred mountain. Great for a relaxing stay.
