Sabrina helped me find the place and gave her recommendations for restaurants and i honestly had the best pizza during my trip in Orvieto which was my last stop. Clean rooms and a hearty breakfast in the mornings.

The location was perfect, an easy walk to all the important spots. But my favorite part of the stay was the excellent service from the staff. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I needed ice for an injury and they found some immediately. I left very early in the morning, and even though there is a process to check out the night before and leave your key, the staff came in to turn on the elevator for me because it was difficult for me to walk down the stairs. There were kind and helpful.

We loved everything, but the breakfast was especially amazing with all the home made 'dolci'. And our bicycles were kindly allowed in the garage.

Altarocca is quite close to Orvietto. The hotel has beautiful garden, nice swimming pools and excellent food. The room is spacious and the air conditioner functions perfectly (absolutely a plus in Italian summer).

The pool was extremely refreshing. Actually there are two pools and we swam in the bigger one outside that has lounge chairs as the other pool is half indoor half outdoor but more of a wading pool than a pool for swimming. We were met by a kind staff, even though we got to the hotel quite late and they kindly took our luggage straight to the room and parked our car for us. The room was perfect it was comfortable and modern and clean. A coffee machine was provided in the room. The breakfast was very nice although the buffet was limited the food was top-notch. The ricotta cheese was the best I have ever had. They also have an à la carte menu. The spa itself was lovely, although unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of their spa procedures, although it looked very inviting.

How clean and beautiful it was on the grand canal. We were near vaporetto stop and could cut through to academia stop. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. The staff was always helpful and kind. We loved our stay!!!!

This is an exceptional hotel. The usual tick boxes apply like location, comfy, cleanliness but they excel in every aspect of their guest focus making it a hotel to remember long after the others have just faded away. We loved everything about this place especially the warmth and helpfulness of staff.

Nice villa in a bit remote garden area, but not far from the train station and to the historic center of Orvieto was it nice 1,5 km walk up to the hill or you can use a cableway or bus from the train station. The owners didn’t speak much English, but they were very friendly and prepared for foreigners to let me know everything important. Breakfast included in the price was very good with many choices and lot of local sweet pastries, which I was happy to try. And sitting in a garden next to a swimming pool with view to the landscape was pleasant start of the day. Room was big and too much comfortable (for me), with view to the garden and well working central air condition, which didn’t make any noise, because the device was outside for whole house.

The staff was very polite. Location is very good, 7 minute walk from Orvieto train station.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful whenever we needed something. It is a beautiful property and we would highly recommend staying there.
