This place is an absolute gem. The hosts are of the most thoughtful and kind people I’ve met on this trip. The room is well equipped with all amenities and very thoughtfully designed. The breakfast is wholesome and beats even major hotels. The hosts helped me book taxis, made the tastiest welcome dessert and tea, organised a bicycle on short notice and helped with just about everything. Highly recommend Unica.

The staff (Seitaro-san and his father) were incredibly kind, they also managed to come take us from Blue Pond with their car and the shabu shabu dinner was amazing! Onsen at their own facility was included in the night. We had a really wonderful stay here and nothing to complain about.

Great staff, with me able to leave my luggage as I arrived before checkin on .y bicycle. The shared kitchen area was good. They also allow me to keep my bicycle in my room, which really was a very nice surprise.

Rooms were new and clean, hosts were helpful, friendly and welcoming. There were some toys and games to keep the kids entertained. Kitchen equipment was of high quality. Could spot Ezo squirrels jumping at the back of the property which was a plus for the kids. Bonus for being able to try out snowmobile and sledding activities for free within the lodging grounds during winter. Kids also had lotsa fun using the snowball maker toys provided in the room for their snow play right at the doorstep. Thank you Mr Akira and wife for making our stay so memorable that the family would like to visit again.
