The staff and the facilities were amazing. The tents are luxurious and we could not have been better served by the people there, who looked after us as if we were family. Great place, can't recommend it enough.

It's a very nice stay in a traditional Japanese house that is 100 years old. A special experience indeed. The hosts are so kind and helpful. The landscape in the area is beautiful.

Ryokan located near the Vine Bridge with a bus stop next to it. The landlady was really nice and friendly! I can speak a couple words in Japanese and tried to communicate in this language with her or the staff whenever I could ; she would speak English when it was hard to communicate. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and generous. I felt bad for not being able to eat everything. The room was spacious and they provided a yukata to wear in the ryokan.

A fantastic place to stay, so unique, and surroundings are beautiful. It's very peaceful, and they done a brilliant job of converting the school. Staff were excellent, and the coffee, breakfast and pizzas were also great! I would love to stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot thank the hotel enough for such an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. It truly felt as though we were living here rather than just visiting. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The manager, in particular, was exceptionally kind, warm, and hospitable. Their genuine care and attentiveness made our stay feel very special, and their level of hospitality is truly outstanding. The room was very spacious and extremely well equipped. The shower water pressure was perfect — very powerful and refreshing (do be careful when turning it on!). The room was fully air conditioned and included an air purifier, which is especially helpful for those who suffer from hay fever. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including a kettle, glasses, tea mugs, a mini fridge for storing drinks, and free WiFi. Additional amenities such as teabags, toothbrushes, and cotton buds were available, and local guides were conveniently provided at the front desk. The hotel also offers washer dryer facilities and a vending machine with a great selection of drinks, which is very convenient, especially for longer stays. One of the highlights was the magnificent view overlooking the Yoshino River. It was absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. The hotel itself is very quiet, impeccably clean, and extremely well maintained. The housekeeping team were also wonderful — friendly, hardworking, attentive, and kind. Fresh towels were offered every day, and they are very respectful of your privacy, providing amenities as needed and cleaning the room upon request. The bed was very comfortable, approximately the size of a small double, allowing us to sleep very well throughout our stay. Another major highlight was the breakfast. Guests can choose between Japanese or continental breakfast.

The accomodations were good. Great location near vine bridge. The staff was extremely kind and went ouf of their way to help out! Would recommend

Great place to stay. Would 10/10 stay again. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Parking was right out in front of our room. The staff were great. Our electronic door code wouldn't work, was easily fixed with a manual key. The suprise was that they included a small meal with each room per person. It was a frozen meal. It was not much, however, after a few long days of travelling it was right what we needed!! Staff organised a taxi for us to the station on our last morning. Met us out the front of our room. The bed was very comfy, and the massage chair was a bonus!! Friendly cat visit on arrival was also nice!!
