A great place to stay right at the foot of the mountain and in immediate vicinity to the temples and tourism life, yet still quiet as it is hidden on a little hill behind a cafe and some shops. Spacious rooms, nicely furnished with modern appliances. In particular the staff was super helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. Can only recommend, is an absolute gem.

It was simply one of the best reservations of my stay in Japan and one of the most beautiful accommodation experiences. The owner is lovely, the meals are delicious, and the welcome is wonderful. A moment of peace and serenity in the midst of enchanting mountains. I think I'll make a detour there on my next trip to Shikoku.
