It was very spacious and clean and all the decor and details were beautiful. I loved that it wasn’t crowded and had my own entrance. Felt like my own little apartment. Very comfortably fit my family of 4. Parking on site. Close to Goryu slopes.

The staff are super helpful. Sakura san picked us up from the station. Anis was always helping us to book the restaurant, go to the onsen, and so an. The hotel is close to the Goryu snow resort and we had a great experience.

Very close to ski, the hot bath, breakfast amazing. And most of all our host are very nice and always try to help. Highly recommend !

There’s a cozy wood-burning stove that creates a great atmosphere, and the accommodation is very close to Goryu Ski Resort — you can get there in about a 10-minute walk. A ski shuttle to the resort arrives every 30 minutes at a bus stop just 3 minutes away from the hotel. Since you rent the entire house, it feels much more private and peaceful compared to the busier and noisier main areas, while still being very affordable.

Spacious room with good options for food/drinks. Walking distance to snowboard rental places and ski lifts.

Amazing location, just a few minutes walk to the slopes. We could snowboard right to the door coming home from the slopes. Rooms were very clean and well looked after. Washing and drying facilities for a reasonable fee. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Not many restaurants in walking distance for dinner but staff recommended different restaurants that delivered and that worked well for us. Will highly recommend to anyone who asks and I would definitely book again.

Great location that is accessible to ski fields I. The Hakuba region. Michelle the manager was amazing! Very helpful and friendly, very well managed.

The proper was a short walk, maybe 300m away from Goryu ski resort which meant perfect and easy access! There was a dry room downstairs for all our ski gear too which was very handy. The staff were exceptional!! Sarah and Kayla were so helpful with finding our way around Hakuba and helping when I became sick. They also made a very nice breakfast in the morning :) 10/10 will be staying here again!

The location is great. Walking distance to the lifts, parking across the street. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The family room was sufficiently spacious for us with a large closet. The staff put our the bedding for us and brought us a small table that was very useful. The heater warmed up the room. The onsen was very small but there were not a lot of guests using it so it was sufficient and the cleanliness and water quality were very good. The gear rental was available and the staff were very helpful.

The hosts were outstanding, so lovely, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. Free snacks and drinks so handy. Expertise re where to ski on what days incredible. Drop off/pick up from ski fields invaluable. Short walk from fabulous Echoland restaurants. In-house ski hire a godsend. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic location, lovely place to stay.

We had an exceptional stay at the Shakespeare hotel. Olivia was more than accommodating to all our needs and request, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was in the perfect location, walking distance to many restaurants, ski hire places and very accessible to get to the slopes (shuttles every hour that leave from outside the hotel). All the staff were welcoming and willing to help where possible. We plan to return very soon!!!

It was very close to the main road and easy to find yet still serene and peaceful. The onsen facilities were great and both male and female outdoor onsens available so no need to alternate. The room was big and spacious and very clean. The staff were super helpful and accommodating.

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel, friendly & helpful staff who make your holiday a trip to remember. Delicious food, we loved the hotpot & buffet dinners, great choice of traditional Japanese or western buffet breakfast. Fantastic facilities with games room, pool table, table tennis, foosball. Excellent location anytime of the year, just a few steps out the front doors across the road to the chairlifts, lift tickets available at the front desk, ski rental just down the street. Or in the spring your right a natures door step to enjoy the spring time flowers, tree blossoms, mountain streams and fresh air. A short drive away from the main town with all your needs. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Very beautiful even when there is not much snow left. It must be great in January and February when it snows heavily. A private stay in the middle of the forest and mountain. Very beutiful view!!! Very well equipped accomodation which makes our stay easy and comfortable. The old men (staff) are very helpful and caring.

Great staff on site! Kohi and Brandon really made the trip showing us the best powder runs in Hakuba.
