The Japanese restaurant was exceptional. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. (The manager dealt with a particularly difficult guest ahead of me in the queue in a very polite and professional manner, more than the guest deserved in my opinion) the rooms are spacious, the outdoor baths delightful. View can’t get any better.

The location is a little far from the station, but there are parking spaces for those who drive, and there is a tennis court outside the house for exercise. The owner is very enthusiastic and will make you a pot of coffee in the morning.

The location is sooo perfect if you want tranquility and is relatively close from the central point of Kawazu. You can enjoy a traditional way of sleeping and it was such a great experience. The host is also really kind and helped us with everything we need

I really enjoyed the ocean view. I managed to catch both sunset and sunrise. It was a warm winter day (around 16c) which allowed me to sleep with the ocean noises but no insects. I turned off the hearing and cracked a window open, but closed the shōji too keep the wind away. It was very cheap. Futon was warm and comfortable.

Amazing hosts! I received a phantastic dinner, everything homemade, it was incredible. Same goes for breakfast. The terrace offers a beautiful view over the forest and the sea and is great for watching the sunrise. Beautiful small Onsen indoor and outdoor.

We were treated with the utmost courtesy by the reception staff，it was a perfect experience.

The view overlooking the sea is perfect. Hotel facilities and the staff are very good. The room is spacious and the bed v comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and had Japanese dinner there. Very nice food and service. We also enjoyed v much the hot spring too.

Takashi and family run a wonderful hotel, everybody was so polite and friendly. Each room is slightly different, I stayed in Asuka which had a classic nautical vibe which I loved. Great views and a delightful outdoor shower/bath. The two spas onsite were a lovely experience at the end of the day. Oh and the breakfast was amazing!
