Everything!! Super convenient place, just a few steps to the chair lift. We wished we could have stayed here longer. The place was clean and the common area was really cosy. The owners were also really nice, we seemed to be the only foreigners there as it looks like it’s for staff accommodation. Take note that there isn’t bus service to the town on sundays.

I love everything about this place! It's so cosy, traditional house with the host making us feel like home all the time. Dinner and Breakfast served was delicious! Location was near ski rental shops and the ski lift. The sento was near as well. Probably the best Ryokan I've ever stayed in rural Japan!

I believe this is the best hotel stay I've ever had. Yes, it's a new hotel, but the extra effort they put into the rooms is very clear. The room was spacious, very well equipped, with information on how to use the appliances. It was also very clean. The private onsen bath was also amazing and much appreciated after a long trip. The location is also great with the river close by, offering stunning views. Every future stay will now be compared to this one for me.

Book & Guesthouse Hitotomaru in Toyooka provides adults-only accommodation with a bar and a shared lounge.
