Very spacious house in a quiet area. We booked this place to go bouldering. Close to a nice temple and in the middle of a tea area. Nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The host is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Wow- the most amazing customer service …. The most comfortable bed- peace and tranquility. A hotel in the middle of know where- but still with a great transport link. We based ourselves here to visit Iga and Akame waterfalls.

My stay at Blodge Lodge in Wazuka Town was truly incredible. The town itself is something special - beautiful, unique, with breathtaking landscapes and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The people are genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel even more meaningful. Michael, the host, was exceptionally accommodating. From the very beginning, communication was top-notch - clear, consistent, and thoughtful. He picked me up, gave me a little tour of the town, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The house itself is beautifully located - stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything you might need. The terrace was perfect for enjoying a quiet cup of tea in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening. Getting around was easy, and everything felt seamless. This stay has been one of the highlights of my time in Japan so far. I felt completely at home here and would absolutely love to come back.

Osugi-ya 大杉屋 provides a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Wazuka. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

I loved staying at Osugi-ya in Wazuka! Kazu and Ken were amazing hosts that made my stay so special! I loved my room the view over the rice fields was beautiful. I loved having a tea bath every night and the breakfast and dinner every night was SO good! Best meals I had my whole trip in Japan. I loved all the different teas I got to try and the premium tea tour was wonderful. I highly recommend staying at Osugi-ya, I'm already excited to visit again 😊

Accommodation was excellent and there is nothing to complain about. The surrounding area also offers plenty of options for trips and excursions. If you are interested in tea, you will feel like you are in paradise here. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. She gave us a presentation and introduction to Japanese tea. I definitely recommend asking for that as well when you stay here. She also took us to a tea tasting. She even drove us all the way to Uji when we needed it. Thank you, and we will definitely come back here.

We loved every single second of our stay at Shikitei, it was amazing in every sense, Personal was so friendly and always on top of things, their care and attention to details was very impressive, we felt so loved and well taken care of. The food was another level of experience, all the courses were delicious!, the room: was the best addition to our trip in Japan, waking up to so beautiful views and even before sleeping we could see some deers from our room, we also had a massage in the room which was so relaxing after many days of walking in Tokyo and Kyoto. A must experience if you stop by Nara! thanks to the wonderful team, it was a memorable experience and will definitely will go back! we were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, they enjoyed so much wearing their PJ's and sleeping on their beds, and the dinner was so thoughtful they ate everything. thank you!
