The most magical place in Japan – the highlight of our trip! When we arrived at Pension Kahru, we had no idea we were about to experience the most special part of our journey in Japan. This place became the absolute highlight of our trip. We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room. At first, we weren't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an incredible and unforgettable experience. Everything was spotlessly clean—probably the cleanest place we stayed during our trip. What truly makes this place extraordinary, however, is the wonderful couple who own it. They welcomed us with such genuine warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. They gave us the opportunity to experience authentic Japanese hospitality at its very best. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of—from the comfortable room, air conditioning, hot shower, and jacuzzi to everything we needed during our stay. We felt cared for from the moment we arrived until we left. The most unforgettable part was the food. We explained that we keep kosher, and the owner went above and beyond to prepare special Japanese-style meals that suited our dietary needs. Every meal was beautifully prepared, delicious, incredibly generous, and served with so much love and care. Dish after dish kept arriving, and every time we were amazed by the effort and generosity. The location is also breathtaking, surrounded by the beautiful Japanese Alps. The owner recommended nearby hiking trails that are less touristy and helped us with everything we needed to reach them easily. Thanks to his advice, we experienced some of the most beautiful nature we saw in Japan. This was much more than just a place to stay—it was a truly unforgettable experience. We will definitely come back, and we will recommend Pension Kahru to all of our friends and family. Thank you for making our trip so special!
